This number called me and hung up after the answering machine took over.


The call might be legitimate and/or important and very welcome. Thing is my household screens calls and have an answering machine on for the purposes of the unknown contacts or when not around.
These days it has become common for Legitimate businesses to hang up calls without leaving any messages.
 
If your a Company: Please do a favor to your customer's and leave a message.

These fuking [***] are running a scam.......... thats it.....

I got a call from this number just before noon today.  They didn't leave a message and nothing showed up on my Caller ID.  They called my house, which is odd because that line never rings except for when my dad calls and when my son's school calls... it isn't a line to my son's school so I didn't call it back.  I agree with another poster - just leave a message if you are legit - worst comes to worse you don't get a call back - geez.

Male caller I spoke to. Called me at 0820hrs. Said a name of a firm but don't remember. Mentioned a name of household. I asked what is this regarding and he asked if it was my wife's name. I told him he was asking to many questions and not giving me answers. So I hanged up. Got 2 more calls and it said on my caller ID "Unavailable Out of Area". Did not say anything on my answering machine. The first time called, my caller id just said "New York, NY 3470607-3005" Checked further came out to a cingular wireless number in the Bronx.

Got a call from this number on September 7, 2010, at 6:30 pm. Didn't pick up the phone and caller did not leave a message.  my caller ID registered New York

Just got a call from this number at 12:08 am. Anyone calling me at that time would be an emergency and would be on my address book, I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message.

I work at a hotel and have been revceiving calls from this number along with numbers with the country code 235 and 359 for about almost 3 weeks already. They call and speak middle eastern or french. After googling these numbers, it is from Chad Republic, Africa and Bulgaria. Annnnooooyyyiiiinnnggg is not the word to describe this.

Got a call from this number at 8:49 a.m. on September 10, 2010. Caller did not leave a message. On my caller ID was the number and New York.

Someone called asking about bank transactions .. I told them they are asking too many questions.
when you call the number back its an automated recording saying enter your pin number.

All these scams today, its crazy.. Be careful.. Phone number is listed in Bronx NY.  No other info available.

Yes they are.. everyone needs to be careful.. they are looking for bank pin numbers,  and asking too much info.

Got a call from my cousin in Canada. I told her to hang up, I will call her back because it's chaper to call from the States. I redialed her number and # 347-607-3005 showed up on my phone. there was a message said to put in my pin number. This emanates from NY, NY address.

This nuisance  have been caling my house incessantly. These calls, I believe, wrer for the sake of my wife, but my wife does not tell like it is. Could you provide the name of the caler ?

Got a call from this number this afternoon.  Caller had a thick accent and identified himself as Fed Ex.  They have a package for me and asked if this is _______?  I told him he had the wrong number.  Then he asked if he could ask who he was talking to and I said "NO!".  He then hung up.  It's a total scam.

This number has called about 4 times in the last hour. They do not leave a message.

I have been getting calls from 347-607-3005 several times. They call, then hang up. I called back onm 9/25/2010 and there was a message instructing me to enter my PIN. I would be very careful with this number, it seems they are up to no good.

I got two calls in a row from this number on 9/24/10 @ 9:30pm.  No message.  I didn't call back either and won't be now after reading these posts.  thank you!

I got a call from this number too today @ 10.38 am .. disgusting people did not leave a message. Thanks for this alert .. I will watch out for them in future !

I got a call from this number on Oct 5, 2010 at around 4:58pm. the caller called a few times and each time said "hello" and then hung up. After four calls I just stopped picking up.
