They say they are the U.S. Department of Education, but they are not!

recieved a missed call from 3476376890 at 1248a.m. after midnight. spammers are getting pretty damnd bold. they know people need their phones on for an alarm on a weeknight.

Said I had a federal student loan in default and may be eligible for relief. Ok, not in school, never had or even applied for a student loan in my life, and I have pressed the response, numerous times, to be removed from these calling lists. Obviously, these guys ar scum and rank second to the Nigerian money scams in boldness and sheer numbers of calls and text messages. Beware.

Student loan scam.......I never had student loans!  Third call like this from different numbers today!

CID says Student Srvcs.  No message.  First & last call from this number.  Blocked.

Called, did not leave a message,  I do not answer unknown numbers........they are wasting
their time.  I'm on the no call list, but doesn't seem to do anything as for as preventing this calls.

Stop calling

No one here called you so no one here can do as you request. This site is to help people identify unknown phone numbers and is not affiliated with whomever called you. PErhaps you should invest in a call blocker if you received lots of these type of calls. At the very least, don't answer calls from numbers you don't recognize and don't call numbers back "just to find out who called." If they don't leave a message, they aren't worth your time.

I kept getting calls from this number with no voicemail message.  I went on to "Mr. Number" online and put the app on my phone.  It is a free service and they can identify SPAM/Fraud.  If they are unsure, you can go into the app and block a number through it if you do not want to receive any phone calls from them.

They repeatedly call from different numbers, the last time from this number I told the guy I know he's a scammer and I never had student loans and to remove me immediately from the call list and he said "I will do no such thing" and " do you know who your messing with, I'll call whenever I want"  They are getting real cocky and if I ever find out who and where they are, I will beat him to death with his own shoes.
