They have called at least 4x today, each time no sound juct a hangup after 10 seconds.

same thing as david.  just got a call and hangs up.  i guess the "do not call" list doesn't mean anything.

Same as Greg and David.  Four calls by 9:30am today, but when we answered they hung up.

Similar stories as the rest. They have called every hour on the hour for the last five hours! The number they are calling is a dedicated fax line, so I'd assume, if a person was on the other end of the line, they'd get real tired of hearing a screeching sound in their ear. My number is also on the do not call list, but I have been getting tons of these calls lately. Also, you can't call them back to stop the calls because all you get is a message when you call.

I just got this call as well. I let it go to voicemail and no message was left. See if they try again later

I received a call at 7:13 a.m.  When I answered, a woman said I am calling to verify you address at ....  I said "Who is this?"  I was told an internet publishing company and they need to verify my information before publishing it.  I said I don't want my information published.  She said "There is no fee for this service."  I reiterated I did not want my information published.  She was very persistent and I hung up on her.  Since then, I have been called back this morning by the same outfit at 7:53 a.m., 8:23 a.m., 8:41 a.m., 8:47 a.m. It is now 8:57 a.m. and probably about time for the next harrassing call : )

Same as above. Roughly 6 calls in the past 2 hours beginning at 6:15am. They began calling yesterday although with fewer calls. Voice mail answered all.  There is a couple of seconds of background office noise before they hang up without speaking.

They just called again 9:15 a.m.   I answered and was promptly hung up on.  I have reported it to Qwest who advised any calls before 8:00 a.m. is again Federal law.

I have had 19 calls from these jerks so far today.  The first one was at 6:15 this morning.
How do I make it stop?  I'm about to go insane.  They should be arrested for harassment!

This number has called seven times in the last two hours. Four times yesterday morning beginning before 8 AM.

I received 3 calls from them this morning and two calls yesterday.
They leave no message and caller ID only shows NEW YORK.
I wish we all could get $100 each time Telemarketers call us and we are on the do not call list.
At least I'm 99% sure it probably is a telemarketer.
Govt should require anyone conducting Telemarketing or using those X@Z! autodialing machines to IDENTIFY themselves.

they tried to tell me that we are already listed with them...bull...definitely scam

I received the same slue of calls.  The number that they called is our roll-over second line that we don't give the number out.  After daily calls, someone finally asked if "Will" was there.  I stated that they had the wrong number.  The lady rambled off our second phone line (which I didn't think about) and told her that she dial incorrectly.  She apologized and hung up.  Within seconds I received another call from the same number, and immediate disconnect and within the next few seconds received yet another call.  This time an Indian speaking man responded to my greeting and he gave the same speech.  I wanted to know whom they thought the number belonged to.  He read off the information he had and I told him that I don't know who had that number before, but it was outdated and told him that it was our second line.  He then asked if he could have my business name to update the number.  At that point I got rather pissed and told him no, and stop calling me.  But they are persistent SoB's....I have stopped answering that number.

I don't think people should be allowed to harass  business like this.  I have a medical office.  Their pathetic calls are wasting precious time that I could be spending with my patients, as the rest of you could do with your business.

Multiple calls the last two weeks.  They say they are from onlinegreenpages.  Hanging up on them is ineffective.  If you talk to them for a while they get through "verifying" your business information and try to sell you a "premium" listing.  So I think it's just a trick to sell you a premium listing in a fake/worthless online business directory.

Got a phone call from this number this morning at exactly 8:00AM as I was about to leave for work, a very aggressive Indian guy was at the other side saying something wanting to update my information and that it would only take a minute. I told him I was not interested and that I was busy, he persisted and pushed me to an automated system to update my info. Something was fishy and decided to play a game and just started pushing numbers on my phone and the guy interrupted me very mad that all I was doing was pushing buttons. At this point I hung up and the guy called me back right away mad that I hung up without completing the information. I got mad and told him he was wasting my time and he was also upset that I did not want to play his game and I told to to go away and that I would call the phone company and block his number, he barked back at me with "You call anyone you want" in a challenging mode.
This has to be some sort of scam run from India. Beware of this people.

I have received this call EARLY in the morning...7am, 8am, etc.. AND am on the DO NOT CALL List also...which obvioulously does no good these days.  WITH QWEST and other phone companies not giving a hoot who they allow phone access to.  LET us hope they start calling some senator or congressman, then MAYBE something will get done.

The first call I received was from a woman with an Indian accent who advised she was from "Online Green Pages" and had to verify my company information.  She read off my address, which was correct, and then told me to hold while she transferred me to her quality control supervisor to make sure she did her job right.  I knew right then it was a scam so I hung up.  Immediately after I received a call from the "quality control supervisor" who said, "What is your problem, you disconnected our call"...which really ticked me off so I let them know exactly how I felt (seriously, if you are going to call me at work and have the nerve to ask me what my problem is because Im not going to sit and listen to your BS, then you better believe you will listen to mine if you wish the call to continue).  They have not called back since.

If your telephone company offers selective call rejection, GET IT!  I can block area codes, six numbers or all nine numbers.  You might want to call your telephone company.  This will stop their calls.
