This person is calling me and cursing me out, and telling me I owe them money for something, I will be pressing charges.

I am getting calls from this number at my work and at home and they are saying that I owe them money or that I can take it to court. I have never heard of this cash advance usa place and sure did not get a loan from them.

This individual called my wife on one of my older phones and told her that he was from Social Security and wanted to talk to me and then he called her again using the same number and said he was a lawyer that was suing me. I knew it was a scam from the beginning and warned my wife not to answer or volunteer any information. Anything he already knew was easily accessible from any search website and it was nothing he could use to do any damage with. First of all, any legitimate business or government office will not be using a number structured like that and anyone that I'm currently corresponding with in some way, know that I always have their verifiable contact information. It is probably from the same scammers using 718-557-3000 to call people. I hope they catch these bandits, put them in jail and then throw away the jail before they really hurt someone during these rough economic times.

This same number has called me also, leaving voice mails for me to call a kevin smith back, I called the number and cursed them out. They wouldnt even put me on the phone with a kevin smith, as if he didnt even exist. These funky under arm indian people are full of bs and dont believe a word they say.( No disrespect to indian people)  They have been harrasing me for months now claiming that I owe them money and that they will call my job and will send police to my home or job to lock me up. When I cursed them out, they too had some harsh choice of words to reply back, no bill collectors talk to custmers that way regardless of how much they owe them. IF AN ARAB OR INDIAN SOUNDING MAN CALLS YOUR NUMBER HARRASING YOU WITH COURT, OR THE POLICE, BUT YOU HAVE NEVER GOT ANY ACTUAL PAPER WORK SENT TO YOU IN THE MAIL....... ITS A SCAM! No one can take you to court with out a court order from a judge or offical police officer. PLUS, VERY RARELY DO YOU HEAR OF AN INDIAN POLICE OFFICER. (ITS NOT COMMON),  AT  LEAST NOT IN THE LAST 5 STATES IVE EVER LIVED IN. I truly wish there was something we all could do and get together to bring these [***] down.

These ppl are scammers and if you have ever applied for a Loan online then they are getting the applications and that is how they get all your info, but no you wont owe money to any of them hope this helps

This Alex Carter is always calling me when I do know him. At first he claims from ACS Law firm.Previously he said he is Kevin Cooper with a different number. Now he is using this number 347--673-1427. He talks with a foreign accent. He lives somewhere in Bronx, New York. This man is stupid, idiot, and deserves to go to jail. He calls my workplace and home number every day or sometimes every other week. I am tired of his calls and I want him persecuted.

The person calling my numbers claims to be Donnie Richie and told me he would f&*^ing take me to court and take $3000 to settle whatever account with some company named Advance Cash America.  I started to argue with them, but told them to take me to court.  When I asked for a number to the company they say I owe money they gave me a bogus number and threatened to have me fired.  Lotsa guts to curse me then threaten me.  I looked up this Advance Cash America and they don't even do business in my state.

This organization is a scam.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION.  Inform them that they are violating the Fair Debt Collection Act and that you are seeking legal representation.  Place fraud alerts on your accounts as they seem to know many peoples' SSN's and bank account information.

I received a call today at work from a woman with a very thick Indian accent, so I am not real sure what her name was. She said that she was from I think ACS and knew the last four of my SS# and said that I needed to call this number back in order to resolve my account. I didn't call them back becsuse I have no idea who this company is. Something needs to be done about this.

I just got a call tonight from this freak! People are such scammers. I hope they get caught!

these same people contacted s me threatening my job they had all my information ssn checking account the whole nine yards so all i did was change my accounts called the id theft hotline and called the credit bereau and put fraud alert on my info just in cases something happens.

I have been receiving harrasing phone calls from these people as well. They have also called my mother; no idea where they got her number from. When I called back and requested to be removed from their information, the guy yelled at me and told me he didn't care if I called the police.

Today we received a call from a Steve Johnson calling from 347-673-1427. He has all of our information and saying we owe them money from a Cashed Advance USA. We emailed the Cashed Advance USA and they have no record of us even in there system. We told them about the phone calls we have been getting which has been about over a month now they said they are looking into these people and do not give them any information and DO NOT give them any money. I will be contacting the police and hopefully put a stop to these annoying phone calls.

Do you know how we get them to stop calling? Is there anything we can do.

Same thing. Called and said they were with Advance America asking for 850 and Legal fees. Such a scam. Best thing to do is not answer, let it run its course, and they'll stop calling. Also call the FTC and Transunion to put a fraud alert on you SSN for 90 days just in case. The # is 877-382-4357 for the FTC

I got a call last Friday they left a message about my son using my name to borrow money.I called them back he told me my son owed them 1,000 and that he had not paid. They said they were collecting. They said they were going to charge an extra 500 for collecting. They had my name and name of another of my sons and that our names were used as references by my older son. They told me my son had committed fraud. That if he or I didint make arrangements on paying up he  would go to jail. They told me I would also be charged and have to pay the penalties for fraud I got so upset at my son. The caller had a heavy accent(india). He said his name was Nick Brown. My son googled the number and lead us to this post. They had all my info. WHAT CAN I DO!?

Same number but used the name of "Ed Thomas" you has also used the name of "Frank Martin" and a number of 786-345-1037."  Scammers who have obtained personal information of people who have applied for short term loans using the I-Net.  DON'T pay them any money, notify your bank as well as the Credit Companies and contact the Attorney General in the State you reside.

my wife gets these calls and i call them back. Some east indian guy always and i start to harrasing them asking them about al qeada and bin ladin he gets mad easliy and you can tell he is full of [***]. Ask them about 911 and tell them how you truly feel. Hell i called and ask for a donation for the kkk his dumb [***] didnt even know what i was talking about. Its all a scam just them to [***] off and there not getting [***] and it may stop
