I just got a call stating to call back right away as there was a legal matter with the attorney general.  Bogus.

This call was a recorded message that said I had a legal matter to resolve with the attorney general and to call right away.  Bogus.

Same message, call immediately due to a serious legal matter that could escalate or have my attorney call them back.

So I call back for fun, let it ring 10 times. They don't answer.

Got a phone call from "William Rogers" Department of Legal Affairs Of Treasury Department telling me to call back on urgently,  At the end he says "good luck"...The phone number is 347 - 707 - 7629.  Also, his phone kept breaking up.

Got a call on 11/18/15 stating name of J F Thomas with Dept of Legal Affairs @ 347-707-7629 regarding a serious legal matter.  Was also offered the option to have my lawyer call him back.  Yeah, not going to do so!  SCAM!

I got the same call (from 347.707.7629) as people above regarding a "serious legal matter" of "actions taken against me"...told to "contact my lawyer". Total garbage!   He sounded like he was in some room in India with a bunch of other people on bad phone  connections...talking about "serious legal matters".  Ha!  It wasn't believable at all!

Call from 3477077629 regarding 2011 taxes saying this is a serious legal action. They had my correct address and said mail had been sent and I did not respond. They had the name listed on my taxes incorrectly, which was a warning sign. Gentleman said he would follow up and get back with me. This is a scam!!!

Said to call back about a serious legal matter. Scam for sure.

Got a call that said it was from US Treasury- called back and the guy insisted it was legit -but I knew better because I had been reading about it online.   I told himthat I was reporting him and hung up.

Got a call from this number this morning, the left a recorded message saying I needed to clear something up with this state. The voice was American, no accent. When I looked up the area code it wasn't even my state or any state I have dealings with. I also know my state will send you a letter if there are problems. Scam.

I received same type of message from this number stating William Rogers from Legal affairs, recommending calling 347-707-7629 otherwise legal action would start . He has foreign accent. It is threatening call and I want to stop this. This is scam. He does not have right to bother people.

I just received a call from ths number as well.  Same as everyone else.  It is a recorded message stating urgency in my contacting them to resolve a financial matter or legal action will be set in place.

Mr Lee called. American accent. Same [***] story. Why oh why? People are not that dumb.

They get more and more sophisticated. Now using robo callers to try to scare you into calling them back.

Got a call from this number saying the are calling from the State's Attorneys office about my account and I need to call back to have it taken care of. I called back and I got a young man with either an Asian accent or India accent so I told him I could tell he is not calling from the states attorney office and then when I asked him which state he is in and calling from, he hung up. Yes they are bogus and I wish the government would do something to stop calls such as these!!!!

REcieved several calls in one day from this number. When I called them back, I was called a bi__h, told I was going to be raped, etc. I laughed, which made him angrier, and he said if I did not want to pay my debt I would be dealing with him. Yeah, ok.

I also received a call from 347-809-6342 leaving a message that this is an urgent matter from the Attorney General and to please call back immidiatly.
