Scammer on Craigslist. Wanted to send money order for merchandise. This scam is getting old....

********BEWARE*******The Craigslist scammer hits again. Caller wanted to send a cashier's check all they needed was the my full name, contact address and bank acct info so funds could be deposited. DO NOT give any of your personal info or location. *********YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED*********

This is the 2nd type this scammer has tried to buy my lawn mower.  He wanted to send payment in 3rds.  HA!!!  Scammer = Loser!

Texted me and wanted to know if I "still had this item" when I stated in my ad DON'T TEXT ME.  Haven't answered his text and don't plan to after reading here that this person is a scammer,

Ran the scam  out and got a money order from MA, with a USPS from TN, and the return address from NV. The phone number is from NY. I kept all contact dialog thus far and have turned it in to the local authorities. If you have gotten into this scam, they may not, nor ever send you their information to send the money back until the very end. More than likely they are over seas with a host here in the US. I hope no one out there has sent any product and banking information to these people. They will send you incessant texts - urgent - important - get back to me asap. Bad grammar and bad spelling. They will also try to gain sympathy from you and use religion to build a relationship. Get a life and get a job miscreants.

Did they ever actually send you info? I just got texts from them and I'm sick to my stomach now :(

I received an email on my AVON website that this person that has the name Michelle Racheal, and the email address:  michellerash@hotmail.com  wants
to order AVON from me.  I guess after seeing all the complaints on the
internet about her and her phone number.....I'll pass!

I just got this on my Avon email account.  She claims that she wants to order products.  There are alot of these scammers out there preying on Avon reps.  BEWARE.

I have the check in my purse now.  Can I just cash it and spend the money?  I tried calling the number but got no answer.  Now they are texting me, saying his name is Michael.  I have just told him that I cashed the check but cannot mail the money to his daughter bc I need it.....this is stupid.

Oh the check is from Transperfect Translations International, Inc.

I wish I had read this beforehand. This exact thing happened to me, I didn't know it was a scam at the time, but thankfully I didn't follow through with them.

I got an email today on my Younique website.  The bad grammar gave it away but when I googled the number all of this very useful information popped up!  Thank you so much everyone!!

I got an email today on my Younique website from Karen Roger email of karenroger01@hotmail.com. I will not be making contact back after seeing this information.

I got the same thing on my Younique account. I woke up to an email with the information. I thought it was odd that they wanted me to contact them to purchase on my Younique website when they could have easily read up on the product and order... being as it is an ONLINE company!

Omg i did too! I first got an email through my website saying she was interested in buying products and then replied with her order saying she will send me out a check or moneyy order once i told her the total amount. And i am sooooo glad i googeled her email!!

Omg, what do I doif I gave her my billing address..... I just told her the price for yo unique....

If u receive the check DO NOT CASH IT!!!! Take it to the bank for them to look at.  Never again send your personal information to ANYONE!  Next time they say they don't  do credit card because they don't  have a credit  card account "supposedly" you can always tell them they can buy a visa card with cash in any grocery store .

I just got the same email regarding my younique website...i googled the number since it looked suspicious, because the contact info was the same name as you got (karen roger) but in the message they said their name was mike carrey...very weird! So glad i didn't respond!
