i just recieved a threatening voicemail from this company. I returned the call it went to voicemail. Mrs. Johnson called back a few minutes later threatening me once again. I told her she needed to change her tone of voice with me. She got very rude. She hung up a mr Thompson called back a few minutes later. Claiming I owed $718.00 I told him it had been paid already he goes hello hello hello then hangs up on me. Glad I didn't give out any personal info to them. Any ideas as to what to do??? Should I contact a lawyer in regards to this??

I just received the very same threatening call from a Mrs. Johnson claiming that i owed over $900 to Advance America between 07-09. In which is a big lie! Same number same fake names and same scare tactics!  I didnt fall for it, I hung up!

I just recieved a phone call from Mrs. Johnson as well.  She left a voicemail and when I called her back, she claimed to be with the law office of Starring/Starling and Associates and she was trying to reach a Ms. Ardoin about some charges that had been brought against her.  Little did she know, I work for Law Enforcement and she didn't have too much to say after that.

I received a call today from Ms. Jackson at this number, who was trying to verify information like my ss# & address when I refused to verify until she identified who she was, she hung up in my face. Almost immediately same number calls back and it's this time a guy who identified himself as Mr. Thompson, extremely rude, telling me that they are only trying to help me out, basically yelling and telling me that the laws in my state are going to prosecute me unless I make a decision today and said they'd settle this for about $714.00. I basically had to hand up on this guy, he was so aggressive! Also blocked the number!

Number was given to me by a Christina Marie claims to be with stern and associates I apparently owe ace cash express out in California and I'm getting prosecuted I'm 24 so I started to cry but then it dawned to me I've never had a loan and live in TX any whom once I asked for a letter of confirmation stating when I received the loan and amount etc she claimed I can only receive via email since they don't mail anything out. What law firm doesn't mail paperwork? When I asked for the address and actual number to the firm she had to place me on hold while she gathered that information.
