This person called our buisness and asked for a spacific employee. THe receptionists response was that she could not give that information and then directed the caller to the main office. He insisted on the getting the contact information for this person and when the information was not provided he continued on and started to make threats saying that the information was time sensitive and that they needed this information and that they would call the cops on her.

Officer "Jason Parker" just called me from this number.  The guy's accent was so thick I could barely understand him.  His officers are going to be at my door tomorrow morning apparently.  Hilarious!  I love how they use these absolutely English-sounding names and can barely speak the language.  I look forward to meeting "Officer Parker" and his band of merry gentlemen tomorrow.   LOL!

PS:  Yeah, it's all bogus.  If you get these calls, just tell them to stop calling and that you have called the police yourself and then hang up.  They won't bug you again.

Haha! I am glad I googled this number first before I answered. Officer 'Steve Johnson' has been threatening to sue me. I have the same issue that this guy has an heavy accent as well. I felt prompted to look up this number because he gives no company or law firm information on the voicemail. It also sounds like someone is in there car when they call, doesn't sound like a professional phone call at all. Plus, he was specific about what he was suing about.

The same "Officer Steve Johnson" which has a heavy Indian/middle east accent from the number 347-827-3814. He says he is with Department Investigations. I know I am in no trouble with the law, so I googled this number and this site came up about this same guy calling others. How did you get him to stop calling you? I have no idea who he is and seems like it should be against the law to falsly identify yourself and to falsly claim to be an Officer. This kind of thing sucks. I have had to change my card information at my bank twice due to someone getting my information and even charging my account. I will just have to cancel everything and open it all new, I guess.

I received a call from officer Jason parker and he had a lot of mexican slang, made me laugh, i do not talk to them but he left a message. Think maybe its time to get hold of the N.Y. Attornery General as 347 is a NY area code   And let them handle these american named officers using american names.
why these scum bags get away with this is beyond me.

These people have been calling my cell phone and office for 3 months now. Ive changed my cell phone # and just today received over 50 calls at my office until my boss stepped in and threatened to sue them for harassment of the company. I only got about 10 more calls before they stopped for the day. I got a little suspicious about6 a month ago when they stated how much info they had on me and refused to send any paperwork as to why I had anything in collections (as is my legal right when dealing with real creditors) I moved all the $ out of my bank account and 2 days later saw that they were trying to pull $ with this phone # attached as a debitatm withdrawal! I am currently changing everything again and filing reports with my local police dept, homeland security, all 3 credit agencies and of course my bank. If there is anyone else I can report this to please reply immediately as I have nothing better to do than go after their sorry [***]

    Very Annoyed
I am currently having issues with this same person, same number too! I am an operator at a business and he keeps calling for a certain employee. He has her name, personal numbers and info too. He said it was a legal matter. I now tell him that she does not work with us anymore and this is a place of business and he keeps saying "you lie!" and hangs up on me. I have notified my director of the matter and eventually they will deal with him when he calls again. I am so glad that I looked up the number and found this site!

I had the same problem, they called me at work and only ask for me by last name he said there were charges being brought up against me and my social but he couldn't repeat my social to my the address was so wrong and the timing the account was open incorrect and the bank I checked is in KY I never even heard  of the bank befor Farmers National Bank. I couldn't really hear him so he put Officer Parker on who wtarted out with a strong english accent but then went right back into the other man language and then told me the charges said they checked my credit and know there is no fraud against my credit and that either I can settle or  continue with the charges so I told him continue with the charges and he hung up on my.

I received a call at my business asking for an employee - heavy accented male "officer Ricky Cooper" said he needed to speak with the employee over a "legal matter" - I took down the number googled it and found this blog - I spoke to a deputy sherrif and he suggested I call them back let them know I am aware that it is a scam and to quit calling - waiting to see what happens

I have had the same officer Ricky Cooper calling me consistently. I never answer calls that I do not recognize but he leaves the message that they have me under investigation for fraud or something. I freaked out at first till my boyfriend listened to the message and started cracking up.  He said listen to the accent of the caller and listen in the background.  There are many more of them doing the same scam.  I am glad I checked it out because I am a gullable person and easily scammed.  I am learning the hard way but they can try all they want to get money from me because I dont have any. haha jokes on them.

This guy with an accent called my client telling her that she owed $300.  When my client got this message she freaked out b/c she does not have this kind of money.  They threatened her that she would have to appear in court in New York and that starting tomorrow there would be a warrent out for her arrest.  When I tried calling this number back it stated that "the Magic Jack customer you are trying to reach is unavailable at this time".  After then 3rd try, I got through.  I asked him his name and he said it was Patrick Wilson.  I informed him that his name sounded pretty American for the accent he had.  He agrued with me that his name was not American.  I asked him to inform me of what was going on with my client's case and he could not give me any details.  I asked what needed to be done to make this right and he said he would need my client's debit or credit card number.  I informed him that that's not how these online loans work.  The money is deposited into the account and then removed from the account.  I asked him to send out a letter of the situation to my client and then we would try and make it right.  He said he would.  We'll see if she gets it by Friday...doubtful.  By the end of the conversation, I told them what they were doing was fraud and they said well we can just forget the whole thing and we will just investigate it more.  Whatever!  I don't have time for this crap.

I recieved a call about a week ago this man had a really heavy Indian accent said he was from the Federal Investigators office and his name was Walter Jones.  Stating there were charges against my name and social security number.  I got another today from another number claiming the same thing although he was a state attorney. Stated that if I didn't get him $300 in 15 minutes the police would be at my place of employment to arrest.  The scary part is they have MY social and bank info.  Took all to the local police.

they keep calling and stating that there are three federal charges being placed against me for fraud.  They claimed that they have my SSN and bank info and I still have a chance to resolve this matter before it goes to federal court

Supposedly Officer Patrick Wilson is having me arrested.. I laughed and said obviously you have no idea how the american legal system works. I stated that there has to be paper notification that phone calls mean nothing. I told him I had reported this already to the SBI. He hung up on me. LOL!
