Automated voice message : Said it was IRS and should immediately return the call

Same here - i got out of him that he is Pakistani and certainly has anti US sentiments

I received the same call fro same number. I could not understand the man but he was making all kinds of threats to me telling me he was going to issue a warrant for my arrest beucase I owed money to the IRS for 2 years of taxes over $4,000. When I asked to speak to someone else I could understand he was going to issue a warrant within the hour for my arrest and hung up on me.

Same story as Kam.  Also said accountants are not allowed to call and  when i said I needed something in writing ..... He said IRS no longer sends in writing. ... (who believes that!)

Called company cell phone, it was an automated message. Did not name anyone specifically, just said that it was the IRS and to return call immediately, same number that showed on caller ID.  I returned the call and it rang once and then disconnected.  

I did call back they dont answer

This number said it was IRS fraud: 347-838-4008

I received the same call from the same number. When I asked to speak to someone else I could understand he was going to issue a warrant within the hour for my arrest and hung up on me.

I received a message on my answering machine from the same number and when i called back it either hung up on me or went to a voice mail.

Call coming from someone claiming to be with the irs and to call back since it is urgent.

Yeah, an automated message saying it was Agent Julie Smith with the IRS. Obviously fake.

The message literally sounded like a female Stephen Hawking. IRS does not make calls, from what I hear

Just got a missed call. voicemail said it was the IRS and not to ignore this call.

Got the same call from a Julie to return the call before they took action.  There was no answer, and I called during the weekday.    The IRS would never make a call like that.  They ALWAYS send a letter first.   Definitely a phishing scam.

Just got a call from this number from Julie Smith, IRS will never call like that out of the blue, even if you owe taxes there will be correspondence and numbers to call.  I am sure they will call me back in person and will get the threats of jail, etc...

Please report this scam to the Federal Trade Commission - 1-877-FTCHELP.
The more we report this scam the less chance they have of ripping us off ...
