Got robo call from this number saying the IRS was issuing final notice before filing a lawsuit and that I needed to call back right away!

Call saying IRS is filing lawsuit.  It is a scam.  Don't call back.

Claimed to represent the IRS.  Used an American name but had a very heavy Pakistani accent and poor English.  Admitted being a scammer then claimed his real name was Mohammed Asif.  More BS - Mohammed Asif is is a Pakistani right-arm fast medium bowler in cricket.

I got the call and it went to voicemail. I was smart enough to know that the IRS wouldn't leave a voice message like that.

I got a voice mail from this number claiming to be IRS.  Of course it was not.  What should be done about such calls?  Should someone contact BBB of IRS?  Please advise.

Yes, don't call back. Record the call. Don't give any information because they will continue to call. They will try to pressure you to pay right then and there on the phone. Call 1800-829-1040 to double check.

Automated message - they have called twice and left a message. When I call to find out if it's a scam a second time they hang up on me.

This scam call said I was being sued by the IRS. To ad injury to insult they called me at 5:45 in the morning

It's a scam. IRS will not call you, they do everything by mail on multiple instances.

They called twice. Second time I picked up and told them I worked for IRS. They hung up.

Call from this number...call earlier from Washington state...both same BS. The IRS would send you a certified letter after much discussion and then just attach your assets

Got a call from this number. The message left said that IRS would fill a law suite and asked to call back immediately. The interesting thing is that the caller displayed is 'Spain'.

Called me saying I owe 5000 in taxes and I will be arrested today by the irs
