my friends and family are now receiving calls from this number saying i owe money for a payday i NEVER had. they will not call me because i am on the do not call registry. they say i got money in may 2010. i keep accurate records and no i did not. i have asked for proof and because i got no money, there is no proof. do not give into them. this is a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they actually harassed me and my friend and another one of us as well, saying that my friend owe money to the federal and they had to fix something about her social security number...

I had a note on my desk this morning that somebody by the name of Dan Martin called and it was
a legal matter. I am not calling them I know it is a scam.

I am getting the same calls about the same thing.  What r we to do?  I have asked them to send me something in writing and they wont do it.

Called left message they had a fiduciary in my name and SSN.  LOL..  Called my Cell & work phone.  Called back from a Block Number and they guy did not even try to pretend.  Answered the phone like my neighbor.  In fact he was rude like my neighbor.  Said his name is Jesus Christ and was just rude.  Obviously a foreign call center with names & SSN they bought of old payday loans or payday loan applications.  They call using a clone number.  Called back several times and same rude guy joking around with me.  At least the last two tried to pretend they were someone from somewhere before it blew up in their face.  Wish the US Marines were get these guys instead of the Taliban.  These guys are phone Terrorists.  Have been dealing with these types of guys for a years since I got away from all the illegal payday loan shops.  Do not let these guys scare you they are not real.  Warn any family or friends you might have used as references and do not seek money from Payday loan sharks EVER!

UPDATE:  Funny I finally got a hold of them again. the person who left me a name was not there but John told me a I had a payday loan that I did not pay.  Funny thing is I never had a payday loan with the company he said and that company is not licensed to do business in my state.  He tried hard [must have read my post] to make is sound legit but alas blew it in the end.  These foreigners really haven't gotten it right in quite awhile.  I want to say it was in maybe September they actually had some semi serious callers who actually had a bit right but alas even they blew it because they did not know the state laws that protect us.  Americans Beware.  Scammers we are praying for you that God will change you.

called and stated that i owed them money that i don't even know about/ all they wanted was my attorneys name and number so that they could contact him about this,  When i said i wanted a document on which i owed them the money they said no and wanted my attorneys number to call him they said they were filing a chapter 19 against me for owing this money.  They have called several times a day and even at night this is very aggravating and someone should do something ablout this.  the funny thing is the calls come from different phone numbers from 1-347-875-3080 to telepollsdotcom to 1-415-226-1506 with different people to call back.  I think people need to be aware of scammers like this and the government should do something about this the fcc doesn't want to do nothing either.

Some Indian guy keeps calling me and coworkers about some fraudulant loan. He says they will come and arrest me and I will spend time in jail if I do not respond.

i have stated numerous times for these people not to call me at work and he KEEPS calling.  will not provide prrof of me "owing money".  how can i make this stop?

I got the same call from a different number (817-404-4345) but it was a from Darren Martin. He said he was with American Law Firm. At first I thought someone stole my identity but then I checked my credit report and it did not show that I had a payday loan. I am in the military and my friend reminded me that payday advance places are not legally allowed to loan to the military because of their interest rates. Unfortunately by this point I had already paid $100 and had agreed to part another $200 today. Before they could I carpooled my card and ordered a new one. He called today to get the payment and I told him I knew it was a scam and he threatened to call the cops to my house. I told him to go ahead. They cannot threaten you with arrest that is illegal, just another tip-off that it its a scam. DO NOT GIBETHESE [***] ANY MONEY!!

here a good thing to do  if you get a call  so thank you and hang up then call the bank your self with the numbers you got   never use there numbers or web sites they send you email or by phone .
