Told me to call and hat it was my only chance to get out ...... it's a scam

Threatened legal action.  Returned call and voice mail said I had reached the IRS.

When I called back it said it was the internal revenue service and to leave my name & number. It's a scam

Said an "action" had been started on my name. Told me if I was unable to call back I should have my attorney do it for me, and said,  "Delay in calling may end up in a legal mess for you" . Didn't call back. Glad I didn't. Looks like a scam to me.

I received the exact message as Melissa above. How do these people get away with this? I consider this harassment.

"Action" had been started in my name, I or my lawyer needed to call back, otherwise I'd be in a "legal mess". She had an accent that made it hard for me to understand her.

My message was the same as those listed above. I don't answer numbers I don't know and this number has called frequently. Today they left the message. Don't call them back. All we can do is report it.

Same thing happened to me....I just ignored it.....when you can't hardly understand what they're saying, not only is it very frustrating, but usually a red flag for me.

Go the same message as others - caller ID said Brenda Bolster - good to hear it is a scam, I thought so when my name wasn't even used.  :D

Christina Brown called from the "legal dept" to say I had to call back at this number or I was in a legal mess. Also said to have my legal counsel to call, I was sure it was a scam

Rec'd same call as others.  Called # back claiming to be the "attorney for my client at 000-000-0000" in reference to the call threatening legal action against "my client".  Asked them to call me back ASAP.  Now we'll just wait and see.  I don't anticipate a return call.

Same as above. Also said a warrant was out for my arrest for tax evasion. Owe $4,763.50. We'll see what happens. Sure hope it's a scam!!!!

I received the very same thing as you did regarding a legal issue. Person had an accent like india or middle eastern. Stating I to call Brenda Bolster at 347 944-1193. Last year another IRS scam was tried against me. Like this issue and last year it's suggested you to contact IRS scam website and file a report to the treasury scam investigator. It's quick and fast. More we report the better they get these idiots.
