Wanted to know my bank account number, or I could receive it via money gram. I said money gram...lol she then instructed me to bring $250.00 to my nearest Walmart Money gram location...I HUNG UP!!!
- Caller: Goverment Grants
- Patricia"Nancy" called to inform me that the government had grant money to give me. Really? We are how many trillions in debt and they want to give me some free money? Wow. I hung up.
- Caller: The Government
- GevinKatesThis number called me saying the exact same thing all of you said. Except they didn't ask me for money, they told me to go straight to Money Gram and I could pick it up there. I figure when I get to Money Gram they are going to ask me for the money.

- D. B. replies to santiagoI got a call from 'Washington DC' and am to receive grant money from the Federal Government. The person was speaking with an accent. I ask if there was ANY cost to me receiving the money and he said "no". But the area code is not in Washington DC, rather according to the internet it's location is New York City. So I wonder about this, for sure.

- Batman replies to mikeThey are Scammers the did a whole thing on Dateline about them if you apply for any kind of a job or loan they feed off of people that are not smart and that will give them free money to find out who they really are just say you are recording this phone call that you have traced the phone number and ask them repeatedly who they are and try to get them to slip up by giving them fake names or ask a supervisor that so-n-so said this and see if they give you a different name and just for fun you can talk really rude to these bad people . I like to vent all my weekly frustration out on them bc they are poor dirty third world country people mainly from Africa or india soo please as rude as you like bc they are just trying to hurt and scam people out of their money bc you should never need a deposit to get a grant or loan bc if you had money for a deposit chances are you probably wouldn't be asking for a loan or grant. Please make sure they know you are better than they are and that you are not worth the dead animal that you drove through down your Street. That you would much rather stick a hot poker through your lip than to give them the moldy food in your dumpster. That no matter what they do in life that the homeless guy you gave money to this morning is better than them , and the only way you would even think of giving them he time of day was if they comment suicide over the phone by strangulation. YOU WILL FEEL SO MUCH BETTER IF YOU JUST YELL AT THESE PEOPLE YOUR STRESS WILL JUST GO AWAY ,IN AN INSTANT IF YOU JUST UNLEASH THE ALL YOUR HATE AND ANGER ONTO THESE PEOPLE ,JUST REMEMBER YOU ARE BETTER THAN THEM SO,PLEASE TREAT THESE PEOPLE AS BAD AS YOU CAN I MEAN BE SUPER DUPER HATEFUL < THREATEN THEM ,CALL THEM EVERY NAME IN THE BOK REALLY GIVE THEM A PIECE OF YOUR MIND BC THEY DESERVE IT !!!!!!!

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
