Theese people are crazy! they call and call. They something like, " There is legal matter pending and they want me to verify my info asap." How suspicious. Then they get offended when i say " give me your address and i'll have MY attourney contact YOU. Then they hang up and call non stop!!!!

Callers says there is a legal matter pending and I can not send a money order, I have to go on line and pay with a prepaid card. I don't know who they are but I want them to stop calling me.

The man on the other end said they had my bank account number and they were going to debt my account because I had not paid some payday loan company.

When I asked him for his name and address he hung up

I to asked this "Indian Entity" who he was looking for and his name and the name of his company
and hanged up on me. These people are not human beings, There the lowest of the low.

They called almost 20 times at work. I told them from the start, you are in a boiler room, it is a SCAM, I am and did report to FTC and my SCC in Va. They got a little ugly until I finally said, I am not buying your scam, PLEASE, PLEASE meet me at the Courthouse and put anything to me in writing.
It is good entertainment, but a waste of time

addendum to earlier post, i used internet and determined this is a land line in staten island NY. anyone up there, go beat on the door!!!

I did a search on the number and it is in staten island. The thing that bothers me is that I did take out a loan but I am not behind. Does this Indian type guy work for them? and stealing information or what? How does he get my number? It is people like this that create vigilantes. This guy better stop calling me.

I called them back to let them know they had the wrong number and they where very rude telling me I was toni newten  and it was a legal matter with my ss#

i also got a call , and i too have a payday loan that i am not behind on...they have not said anything about the payday loan but when i read your post it made me wonder if that might not be the next call...anyway they left messages saying there was a lawsuit pending and if i do not call them back they wish me luck as this situation unfolds upon me....... i was nervous so tried the reverse look up with no result other than the location so here i am on this sight, glad i found it i feel soo much better

These people are scum. If I knew who and where they were I would kill them all for *--cking with people.
The police of various states could EASILY track these numbers to the souce even if the calls originate out of the country, but they don't give a *hit. I apologize to those who are soft of heart and think I come off to strong, but I mean what I say. The predators of this world need to have their heads handed to them so that the rest of us can live in peace. Who is going to protect you when you really need it?

They are trying to take advantage of you. What is there to be nervous about? I think you should be angry that someone who is trying to rip you off would waste your time like this.

(347) 983-7833   (708) 978-7388  SCAMS!  Telling me that something about my name and  SS# and some fraud investigation going on. His name is Officer M. Johnson calling from the fraud investigation, criminal activity 708-978-7388! That was on 8/4/2011!

These people are a scam

I just recieved 3 phone calls from these people at my job. they have all my info. how is that possible.

I have received the same message as you, 3 times then they stopped and then it just started again today!  There is just something about the ethnicity of the voice and the fact that he read my last 4 of my SSN to me on voicemail...how do they get that info?  Creeps me out.  And I am fedup!

this same number 347-983-7833  called my husband twice yesterday, and today at 6:30 am
called again and left a message identifying himself as Andrew Smith investigator that I must call him that there is a financial egal matter against my name and SS# and I must call them back to  set up a payment plan
to them to avoid full legal action against me.   Total fraud.  I don't owe anyone anything.

Got this call too. When I called back like someone above said and asked for an address for my lawyer to contact them his response was "I got your lawyer in my pocket!" WHAT??? And by the way.... not to be rude but what "Indian" has the name of Jack Martin! UGH!!! I will be reporting them too!
