Ignore like I do the countless others

Repeated calls. I never pick up. No messages left. Caller ID says "Wireless Caller."

I answered.  No response.  They hung up.

I answered the phone, no response. Assume it's a scammer because they always hang up when I answer with the company greeting.

I receive a call from this number every few days. It's probably a robot building a database of numbers that are answered live.

Called my business line, did not leave a message.

Called my business #, we answered but did speak, it was an automated recording stating that if we wanted to discontinue the calls, to press 2.  We didn't, just hung up.

Why call and hang up. Who is paying for this. What I know is the DNC will do nothing. the phone companies will do nothing because they make money. Your political elective will do nothing. So you have to do something and that is why this is a good board to post. block the [***]. sometimes I text the number back and it goes through. the other day I sent a text back. " Hey A holes (fully spelled out) go  F yourself with your 3 rings and hang up. F you [***]. don't call again a holes.
They have not called back. F them.  it was a 310-992-3490. others on the board said it was a construction scammer.

347-990-2484 called the business cell multiple times. They ultimately left a message: "Steve" calling to see if you qualify and are interested in receiving calls from customers locally searching for your type of business. Press one now or press the two key to be removed. Thank you

We will press neither and will block in our trusty call blocker app.

says 'LOCAL' ... gee, how exciting...

Called our house about 3pm. We did not answer and they did not leave a message. We are on state and federal do not call lists.

lol how does toll free number get turned into a political debate with racists terms thrown around. this world is too tight

I went back through all the posting and cant find a racist remark .... please explain.

Caller ID says LOCAL 347-990-2424
area code 347 is not a local number where I live. Whocalledus say's it's  in NY

Scammer called; didn't answer it; blocked this number from future calling.

My eyes narrow at these - I recognized the area code as Brooklyn-Queens-Bronx-Staten I.  I clicked on and stayed silent, heard nothing, then I hung up.  I know FCC-CRTC-Ofcom(Britain) agreed to do something about ID spoofing, but when are they going to do it?  I don't think spoofing is possible without the complicity of the company that provides service to the spoofer - giving the spoofer access to the function that identifies the calling number that will be sent by SS7 signalling to the called party's phone company.

It's my good friend, Sharon, from Google.  She informs me that she has reserved a front page location for me!   Isn't she sweet.  All I have to do is press "1" now!    What a deal!
