Advised that my computer word program was in danger of crashing.  Ask who they were and they screamed Global something that I could not understand - they yelled and then hung up.  Could hear noise in background.

they have called me repeatedly on 1/5/15 said they were from my computer, said it was in danger. I just purchased it 2 days ago. I hung up and they keep calling back.

Said they were a Windows technician and that my computer was filled with errors.  They wanted me to log in to my computer and let them scan it.

Called my spouse twice that my computer was corrupted and to turn it on and they will scan and fix. Yea!!

They called and I did not answer the phone. Thanks to the posts above I'm glad I didn't. They did not leave a message. These scammers just keep changing phone nos. and the phone companies just take the money without ANY investigation or questions.

Receive a call from above number..Did not answer after reading all of the comments.

They called at 8:05a.m.  We did not answer because it was a not know phone number!

They first called me from a 212 #, then this. And  said my computer was in danger. They called again from the number above and I asked how they had my number if it's not registered with windows and they got upset and I hung up. So glad I read this. They even knew my last name..

Called at 7:30am. Didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. Glad I didn't after reading this posts!

yippee!  Another number to add to the list as they rang MY phone AGAIN at 7:30 am!  I'll give them the air horn, that keeps them away for a week or two...and they are back!  Keepers!  Somebody, please, locate these creeps and shuts Down!

If somebody called me THAT early in the morning, the LAST thing that I'd want to do is sound an air horn that close to my own ears!  I'd already have a headache -- why make it any worse?

Also, if one sufficiently irritates the scammer, they may spoof one's phone number, so you are the recipient of other sound effects and vocalizations from irritated callers.

they are m***** f***** IT guys sitting in India right now. They still our information from the businesses that outsource to them and after they get fired from their employment they start their own scam business. If they call me again they will hear a big word out of me. My fellow citizens dont give them any information and if they keep calling you report them to law inforcements.

this  number called me 10 am said something about malware on my computer. hard to understand their English.
being the polite person I am,  I told them to go have sex with themselves. area code was Mexico.

Called my home phone. I don't answer the phone if I don't recognize the number.  They left on message on my machine.  Am on DNC list, for all the good that does.

I've started telling them they have reached the FCC, to hold on while I connect them. That works, but it isn't nearly as much fun as asking them to hold for the Sheriff, handing the phone to my husband, and having him tell them that they have reached the scene of a double homicide, and since that number has appeared often, he needed names and addresses immediately, and for them not to go anywhere until the local FBI arrived. Heeheehee!

This guy called and said he was calling on behalf of Windows.  He said that I had downloaded malware and that he needed access to my computer to clean it.  He called three times!
