I saw the phone number and didn't recognize it and they hung up before my phone went into voicemail.

They called 5 times today. Caller ID showed "NAME NOT FOUND", so I didn't answer the first two times. The 3rd time I did answer. The guy on the other end had an accent so thick I could barely understand him. But, he asked something about a loan I applied for? I haven't applied for any & he didn't know my name. Sounds like a phishing expedition of some sort.
I told him 'NO. TAKE THIS NUMER OFF YOUR LIST' everytime he asked a question. He finally said "OK", and said good-bye. Not 2 hours later, MR. Accent called again. I told him if he did not stop calling this number I would report him to the FTC. He hung up. He'll probably call again tomorrow.

They are online payday loan lenders. Someone might have used your phone number for a contact number. That's why they are calling you.

This number called me along with 2 other numbers called 13 times in my classroom while I was teaching. When I answered they said something about a payday loan. Asked to be removed from lists. Still calling. On phone with cellular provider now.

I've gotten calls from this number and a couple other random numbers starting about 24 hours ago. I didn't answer because I never answer unknown numbers. My boyfriend finally answered it for me and said that a man with a very thick accent said something about a loan, but he couldn't understand. I answered the last two calls from this number and both times I say hello, there is about 5 seconds of silence and then the call is dropped. I don't understand how they got my phone number, but it sure would be nice if they'd stop calling.

Called twice today, answered second call. Said someone had filled out an online loan application with my number. Would not give the name & I did not tell him mine. Suggested maybe a family member had done it. I assured him that no one had applied for a loan. He finally hung up. Definitely a scam.

I have had the same experience as everyone above . The last few days I have received very aggressive phone contact from this number the most  and other random area codes of 471, 820, 230, 449.  Today on my day off the 348 number woke  me up and I didn't answer. Then within an hour they called again. I tried calling the number back and it doesn't connect to anything. I did apply for a higher line of  credit  before this. All started happening.

I got call yesterday from a caller that showed up as anonymous on my caller ID. After the second call from them I picked up the phone and there was a long pause then someone spoke, so I hung up knowing it was a salesperson or a scam. I got called another 15 times that day, in which I did not answer. They do not leave messages on voice mail.

Ironically today, I just got my second call from 348-749-0274 phone number. This time I have not answered, and they do not leave a message either. I wonder if they are connected.

I might add that number 471-660-1593 called my wife last night and she answered with somebody with an heavy accent saying she had qualified for a loan. She told them she had never applied for a loan and hung up. The person saying that the area code 471 is the same people are telling the truth.

348-749-0274 and 471-660-1593 have been calling my work cell phone all day.  I have not answered.

They have called me non-stop today. I finally answered. A man with a heavy accent said I applied for a payday loan and have been approved by four lenders. (I have not applied for a loan of any type.) He said he was with "Eastern Payday Loans".

the first time a guy with a accent said I had received a car. I told him I already had a car and he hung up. He's called back about 10 times so far.

I got one from this number this morning.  I'm able to check where the numbers are coming from checking my provider online.  This one came from Spain.  I got one from a different number the other day that was from Uruguay.  The man was Indian.  He told me I was approved for my car loan.  I told him I never applied for a car loan and not to call me again.  He started to curse at me.  My provider allows you to hit *57 after a harassing phone call.  I tried, but the number doesn't exist.  It's spoofed.  I don't know how to stop them.  I'm listed on the Do Not Call resgistry, but that doesn't seem to matter much.

Actually, they are scammers.  They are calling you to attempt to get you to give them more personal information.  Do not call back, do not answer their calls; if you do pick up, just say no until you can hang up the phone.
