I received an email from 'Maritn' stating he bought a car from me on ebay (which I have nothing for sale on there) and were threatening to contact ebay police and leave negative feedback.  There was a in the email regarding this 'car'.  I copied ONLY the item number from the email (WITHOUT opening the link) and there was no such item.  Obviously this was a scam.  They left this number to call them.  His email address was Martin_Logan @yahoo.com.  When dialing this number I get a fast busy which means the number does NOT exist.

Received same email from Martin claiming he bought car from me.  Didn't happen.  Says he is going to call the ebay police etc.  Total jerk and waste of time.

Omg I also received an email saying the same thing! I had sold a car on eBay so that kinda weirded me out. But I'm glad to see it's just a scam! What an idiot this guy is! Waste of my time.

I received a similar email from 'Margaret' claiming to have bought a car from me on ebay and threatening to go to the police and leave negative feedback because I won't return her calls or answer her email. What exactly is the scam here? Are they getting your phone number info if you call them? I know some places use your cell phone number to verify you.

Same as the others what a waist of time.
