Didn't recognize number and nothing in caller ID.  When I returned call, received recording that number had been disconnected, etc.,...

Asked for the person who handles merchant accounts......blah, blah

Lady was extremely rude an arrogant when I told her to take a hike she was telemarketing the wrong company

reminded me of a gnat. I received a phone call at my business from this number. When asked if we had direct business with them (knowing we did not), she kept skirting the question with "we are informing you of a rate increase."
Asked to be removed from the call list and she said they had no call list.

after about 2.5 minutes (i was feeling generous) of back and forth, i basically just told her to f off.

Anyone reading this who works for companies such as this, if you get an instant " f off", you know who to thank for that.

i called back out of curiosity and the message stated "small business growth alliance."  Just go straight to "0" when prompted for an entry.

I was passed to a supervisor and let her know of my extreme dissatisfaction of a time wasting call. From that conversation I got the company name was "merchant services" and they harvest names on the internet to try to get you to switch to their services.

Do yourselves a favor and just hang up from the get go...unless you're really into hard sales. Then have fun with them. :)

Courtney calls about credit card processing.  Claims to be from the Small Business Growth Dept. of Merchant Services.
She says there is not way to take our number off their calling list, which I don't believe for a second.  But, if you insist on calling us back when we are not interested and have told you not to call, then we will feel free to waste your time!  A REPUTABLE business would honor the don't call us back.

Like other people say, RUDE and obviously a telemarketer. Not interested please go away.

"Greg" calls and says he is with Merchant Services Group and did we get his letter?  No, Greg we did not get the letter you never sent.  Nice try.

Calls every two to three days, says he is with Merchant Services Group about are Wells Fargo about are machine. Told him if he was with Merchant Services Group or Wells Fargo, he would know we don't have one. Wont Stop Calling

Bob sees "out of area" on the caller ID.  Bob is bored.  Bob answers.  Myra wants to "review" our merchant account but won't give her company name.  Bob is not interested but wastes as much of her time as he can.  Bob is happy.  Maybe Myra won't call back....ever.  Bob doubts that.  Bob is still bored.

They asked if we process credit cards and that they could offer us a lower rate but we don't need. Simply said NO Thank You. 2 hours later, same person, same call and same Not Interested reply.... I have reason to believe this scam is linked through different emails we have also been getting by people pretending to be possible customers asking if we take credit card. Always sent in broken english, always a different name, and never want to call our office. One even said he was in hospital for lung cancer and that was why he could not call! Incredible...

This time they said we are to get a refund, when we never had an account. Just wanted to get information that no one should have.

Just received a call again, + many more times. Now they wanted to speak with accounts payable about a past do payments. Some body needs to something about people like this.

By the way we don't have a credit card processing equipment of any kind.
