it will give you all the information you need to report them to the proper authorities so something can be done.

I would love to see that happen. Unfortunately this is an overseas telemaggoter and that makes impossible since the country of origin is not likely to cooperate.

Left message early on Saturday claiming to be IRS

Left voice mail claiming that there is an arrest warrant in my name.

this is a scam. they are trying to get information out of you do not comply

Got a message from some hick sounding person calling himself Officer Rob Schneider from IRS and saying that there is a warrant for my arrest! That my property is involved some how...I laughed because I thought what a joke! I have no problems with IRS. Needless to say, I didn't call the number and got on line to see about this number and voila! I guess many people are getting this call.

Rob Schneider, like many other celebrities, is probably another who splits double duties as an IRS officer. Apparently when they're away from the screen, basketball court, wrestling ring, etc.,. they fill their time working for the government. Even Jim Morrison, who's been gone for 46 years, is alive and working for the IRS these days.

This number used first to impersonate the "Illini Health Medicaid program" and to "welcome" me to the program and ask to verify personal data. A call to the genuine program found no record of me, and they don't make those calls.

A few minutes later, the same number was used to impersonate Norton, the internet company, to send a refund. On being asked what it was for, the caller hung up.

Both callers had Indian accents, probably from the south or west of the country.
