It's a scam. This number called and left a recorded message that I was going to be sued for tax fraud and needed to call them back immediately.

This recorded message is the same as an earlier one, just a different number. Probably from outside the US, with some tell tale misuse of idioms. Claims I'm being sued for tax fraud. Must call back righ away! So many red flags that it's a scam.

Tax scam...  No other information but claims to be IRS suing me.

The first responsibility of our government is to provide security and protection.  Why is nobody in our absurdly expensive government not investigating this phone number and stopping this outrage?  Start with whoever in Florida issued this phone number to this customer.  If the calls are being forwarded from India, tell India not one cent of aid until you imprison the perpetrator of this crime.

Definitely a scam. Called 4 times but said it was his first. After identifying who I was, he said he could only speak to the person intended since I was not a family member (although my ID is clearly family member). Barely speaks English. Notice of a real lawsuit must be in writing and served personally.

as heard on my answering machine (yes, I still have one): Message from IRS, Internal Revenue Service. The moment you read this message, I want you or your regiont attorney of record to return the call. The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive and very urgent. Ve have received a legal petition notice against your name regarding tax fraud, tax evasion. So, before things get worse and before things get out of hand do call us back immediately. The number where you can reach us directly that's, 352-561-2048, again, the number is, 352-561-2048. Don't disregard this message and do return the call. If I don't hear from you, or from your attorney either, the only thing we can do is wish you a good luck as this situation unfolds upon you. Once again this is an automatic message. Do call us back on you read this message, the concerned person on this case will be Tom Williams. Thank you and have a good day, bye

Obviously a scam but should be shut down immediately.  I was told to call this number (352-561-2048) as I am being sued for tax fraud/tax evasion.  I,or my attorney, must respond to this call in order to protect myself from whatever is coming down on me.  This message was left on my answering machine 12/3/2015.....at approximately 9:25 AM.  Was told this is VERY URGENT.

Scam google irs phone scam and learn about this scam. They are in a call center spoofing number looking for victims to bullie but saying a law suit jail they even act like a officer anything to get money. The IRS sends letters out a lot and u have to sign for them report them

This is not the IRS I hope nobody falls for this fake fraud scam going on

They've called here leaving messages 2 or 3 times in the last couple of months about something to do with the IRS.  I don't listen to the message because it's nobody I know and they're calling uninvited.  The entire message wasn't there because it's a robocall that starts an automated message as soon as the answering service kicks in, hence it's talking over the greeting for the first part of it's bs.  Since it seems they like to change phone numbers, but they are all still in the 352 area code, I blocked the entire area code.  Nobody in Florida that I know that needs to be calling me.

Received this call but did not answer & left a message.  If I didn't call back they wished me Good Luck. lol Unless they heard from my attorney with a legal petition notice for tax fraud-yada yada yada. SCAM! Said that this was a robocall but to call back and ask for Charles Williams.
