Caller id "unavailable". Peter (someone) left a message that there is a Treasury action and that if I don't appear before a magistrate or judge it will be deemed a second offence for professional misconduct and that I need to call them so they can help me........HUH?????? The treasury scam again!!!! Block them, they will call multiple times a day.

Same problem as everyone else. A recorded message regarding a Treasury action and possible court problems. Voice was an eastern Indian accent. Why can't the Feds shut these jerks down?

"Steve Martin," who has a pronounced Indian accent, left this number for us to call him back.  He said an important legal action would be executed by the US Treasury department if we didn't, and that serious action would be taken by a magistrate, judge or grand jury.  "Call me back and let me help you" he said.  I'm sure he means help relieve me of my money.  

I realize that the Treasury Department has warned the public about this scam and that it's pretty pervasive.  But it's still annoying to get repeated calls from this guy.

He's called back three more times.  I've reported him to the FTC, too, at 1-877-382-4357.  They said if enough people complain about this scammer, they will investigate and take action.  

This phone number has been calling with threats that if we don't return his call, we will be in jeopardy of some offense.

I have received 2 calls from a number 352-575-2546. I have kept the messages on my answering machine. The call was from a male who called himself Steve Martin. I guess Howdy Doodie was taken. Actually he is trying to contact me again right now..... 3 times in one morning. I did call the FTC, as well as my local police dept. Don't call him back, it is a scam.

i got a call from that *hole today, left a callback number, but when i called it i got a message in three or four different languages that said what sounded like "the diet number is not allocated" (think it was supposed to be dialed number...) anyway, yeah, he told me i was going to get slapped with a felony offense. what a swell ****er!

Same issue. Called 5 times today.  I plan on calling the number a couple of you have listed to report him/them.

Wow, Steve Martin called me, but it wasn't that WILD AND CRAZY GUY we all know. Rather it was some [***] Indian. Same message, left four times today, that everyone else is reporting. OMG too funny. You'd think these morons would at least perform a little "due diligence" and not call our judges "Magistrates" - Dumb A$$.

In today's modern world, why is it these morons can still call?

The person who called and left a message claiming to be from the U.S. treasury had a Northeastern US accent (New Jersey or New York), not Middle Eastern Indian like some others have reported. I checked the number online before calling it back and found that it was a scam. I live in a Tallahassee.
