Automated voicemail stating I was lying to the IRS about my taxes/ committing fraud and needed to call this number back immediately to fix the problem. Obviously have no intention of doing that, but am worried someone may fall for this scam and give personal info.

Received a call from this number earlier this morning, stating how I had a warrant for my arrest because of miss calculated numbers on my taxes. I called the police station just to be sure and I didn't have any warrants. This is a fraud and they call trying to be anything.

Had 2 voicemails telling me I'm holding information from the federal government

recalled the number back and asked them why are they trying to sham people.  The man who answered the phone did not speak English correctly and  cursed me out and call me all types of names.  He said he loved doing his job and called me a monkey face, which was the most tame thing he called me.  He said he was not afraid of anything when I said that he should go to jail.  These people are crazy.  Don't respond to them or give any of your information.

Said they where from the irs. And I had a warrent.    Called police and local news.  Q. Can't not believe some one does monitor theses people. Calling there local police as well

There was a news report on our local stations in Boise that people in the Boise area had been receiving these scam calls from people who say they are  from the IRS about a past taxes that you owe the IRS. The IRS does not call people advising them they will be arrested if they do not make payment to them. Do not fall  this scam. You will lose you money if  you fall for these criminals scam

Called saying I have a warrant and if I don't pay 1500 now that I'm going to jail for 3 yrs.

Message call from Longview,WA. claimed I needed to call IRS at 360-200-4675. I called and was told I had a warrant out for my arrest for income tax fraud. I requested callers I.D and name. Replied as special agent Austin Reed. I asked for
specifics on such a charge...what was the fraud? He stated form 1048. I ased if he meant 1040. Was told not to interrupt
him and to go to and turn myself into the nearest police station. He hung up..

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Called back and Austin Reed said he was with the IRS and I had a warrant for my arrest for fraud on my taxes but wouldn't give  me any information. He then said he is faxing the arrest warrant to the police station and hung up on me. Scam!!!!

This is a scam, I called the number back and asked why they were calling me and the man hung up.

They said I defrauded the government and will be arrested if I did not pay $2700.

They make it sound very scary but please do not fall for it

I had already blocked this number but noticed I had a voice message. The msg said I was running from the government & to call back. This voice sounded American, they usually have an Asian accent.
