Yep. Says IRS is filing law suit and to call. Was a computerized voice.

I also received the computerized call from the IRS saying they were filing a lawsuit. When I called the # back the person said that if I didn't pay $2563 in the next two days, then there would be a lawsuit and criminal charges filed against me.
I did not give my name but they knew who I was and my address when they answered the phone. They said that they had evidence against me and gave me a case #.
I asked several times if it was the IRS and they said it was but it just didn't add up. I reported it to the IRS.

I have received several calls from this number, and they told me the irs has sent me several notices, which I never received.  When telling them this, they said they would see me in court and hung up.  Hard for me to understand them also.

From what I am seeing, everyone started to get this call within the last hour. I just got one of my own about 10 minutes ago, the voice was computerized and was a pretty bad job of it. I have had past dealings with the IRS, and this is not how they contact you, let alone having a badly used computerized voice from the 90s. Also, the IRS does not just say they are going to sue you, they are the IRS. First they audit you, and then take what they feel is owed. I haven't tried calling them back and I am not even going to bother. This is obviously a spam tactic. Maybe we are some of the few that had our data stolen with the huge IRS breach this year.

I received this call on my cell phone, did not answer but they left a voice message indicating I needed to call this number to get a case #.  I blocked the number and will not be calling!  So tired of all the scams -

About 30 minutes ago, I received a phone call that showed up on my caller ID as out of the USA, so I didn't answer it. Then  my vm notification sounded, and said it was from phone number 360-200-6831. A computer voice told me to call them back to "get more information about this case file." I googled the number and found that several people around the country got similar bogus messages around the same time.

Same thing as the rest; bad computer voice saying they were going to sue.  As Santa Anna said, this is not how the IRS reaches out to you.

My daughter just got the same call. I instructed her to block the number. I am a little worried that someone has our info though.

I just got the same call. They left the message on my voice mail. Same scrambled computerized voice recording saying I needed to call that same number ASAP, and that I was being sued by the IRS. I'm a retired police officer, and I knew as soon as I heard this message that it was a fraud. And no, the IRS doesn't just call you up and leave a recorded message saying that they are suing you. You will receive a letter informing you that you are being audited. Then, and only after an audit, if they decide to sue you, the attorney for the IRS will contact you personally and inform you of the action. And this will not be a recorded message. So, if you got this message, don't call back. It's a scam! Report it to the "ACTUAL" IRS, and / or local law enforcement.

Received a call this afternoon from this number. They didn't indicate who they were but left a message for me to call back.  I called the number and they asked me for a case number, I said "who are you and why are you calling me"  the guy on the other end asked me for a case number. I said I don't have one and why do I even need one, he said something about me getting pulled for an audit, and I said that's odd that I didn't get anything in the mail....he hung up on me.

Yep, just came home to a message left at about 7 AM saying it was the IRS filing a lawsuit against me. Got the same message a few months ago but can't remember if it was this same phone number. I am going to the IRS's website to figure out how to report these scammers.

It's incredible the crap that goes on. Ignore this call and anything else like it your ever receive.

I too just got a call from 360-200-683, with all the information that has been given right here why are they still operating trying to doop people out of there savings????

I was on the phone when their call beeped in.  They left two voice mails in a row, computerized voice, just saying "to get more information about this case file call 360 200 6831.  Of course I checked the number on line which confirmed this is some sort of scam.  Hope they don't hold their breath and turn blue waiting for my call.

Just received a call with the computerized voice as the others did.  I called it back and they did have my name and address correct.  I asked what it was all about and the man with the foreign accent asked information about my mother.  I refused to give any info and asked what the suit was about.  He said that he “did not want to give me any info and he did not care if I went to jail after being sued”.  I told him that what he was doing was very illegal, and he said again “I don’t care”.  I demanded that my number be removed from hi list and that I was going to report them.  I really don’t think he cares.  Phone # 360 200-6831

Received call from computerized voice stating they were from IRS and I was being sued!

At 7:23 AM today we got a landline call from this number to "call us  immediately". It was a recorded message and not well done. My husband is an attorney and we know better than to respond.  Thank you for a website to put in our information.

I received the same call this morning and another call later.  They left a message stating that I was being sued by the IRS.  When I called they asked for a case number and put me on hold and I hung up.  Tired of these crank calls.  I hear other people talking in the background as if they were in a call center or something.
