I received a call on 5/27 at 10:45 am my time. There was a message, but the beginning was cut off so all it said was to call back at this number. The caller was identified as "Forks WA", which is a very small town near the northwest corner of the Olympic Peninsula. I passed through it once almost 15 years ago. It didn't take long to do so.

Said we were approved for  grant money and to call back.  We never applied for  grant money.   More foolishness.

Just left me a vm with nothing but their number to call them back. Probably an automatic response

One of the few to leave a message.  It was about a grant. I think this may have to do with going back to school.  I recently contaced some online schools about going back to school.

United States Federal Grant Program- Sounds like a phone bank-obviously reading scripts. When asked an off-script question, the caller hung up

This is a scam. They will tell you to go to money gram to however; they will tell you to bring $230 to make sure they are verifying you so that you do not get a penalty at the end of the year ( If you have to pay money to recieve a grant most likey its a scam. ) also if your verifying me you dont need me to give you $230 to prove im telling you who I am. Also everyone you speak with their is foreign ( Sounds indian ) I asked to speak with someone american and ofcouse no one was there.

Looks like a new scam for this number. A partial message was left on my answering machine, with the IRS wanting to talk to me and a warrant has been issued load of crap

I received a vm that was cut-off at the begining.  It was an automated voice and it stated that my name was mentioned in a criminal investigation and that i call back immediately.

Automated voice call (caller ID showed "unavailable" number). Stated my name was mentioned in a criminal investigation with the IRS and that I call back immediately.

I received this phone call on 12/15 from Forks, WA with a VM stating that my name was under criminal investigation with the IRS and that I was to return the call immediately.  I have reported this phone number to an individual at the Department of Justice since the owner of this phone number is committing an illegal act.

Number called about an hour ago. Robot voice. Let a VM that said "word has been issued by the internal revenue services that more serious criminal allegations have been pressed against your name". Reported call to IRS and think this is a scam because of the 'services' rather than 'service'.

got this call stating IRS and that i owed back taxes and that the police would come to my house unless i paid them 4000 dollars. I turned the information into the federal trade commission. Funny thing is i have be retired and havent done taxes for years. Do not listen to these scammers.

Got this call from IRS internal revenue service and warrant issue for arrest.  Phony scared tactics.

Said IRS lawsuit filed. Called number , no answer.

this is truly a scam!!  The US Government does not call and say you own them money.

I just checked my caller ID and got a message saying i owed the IRS money and had a arrest order out for me and to call them back to resolve this matter i called and got message saying the person i am trying to reach is not avaliable an to leave a message. I said i was special Investigator--- and to call me as soon as possible.

Automated man's voice left a message saying that there was a legal law suit filed against me and an unbailable arrest is pending  with the IRS against my name & that I should call immediately

Received a voice mail message saying a legal law suit filed is being filed against me and an "unbailable arrest" is pending. I returned the call this morning and the phone just rang and rang. My husband looked up this number and found all these posts! Thank you, I was scared half to death!
