When I asked where am I calling the caller said you are calling the United States ...cough cough....., so I said sorry I got the wrong number. What United States agency answers the call on second ring without a prompt to direct the call. What a scam!

- Tamianth replies to Tammy bMost of these calls are coming from India and Pakistan where we have no jurisdiction. 800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either or remove from a list.
Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

- Juan Doe replies to fresh| 1 replyI received a call from (360) 203-3295, a Washington number. I returned the call and caller stated he represented the Federal Government. I identified myself as Law Enforcement and asked what was the purpose of the call. The caller said a few words and hung up. I called back and again the person who answered identified themselves as an agent of the Federal Government. I asked him for his employee number and he became very irate. I explained that he needed to state the official purpose of his call and that I would be reporting it to the FBI.

(They called me as well on the 17). Well I hung up and called back and he told me it was all real and stuff but then they asked for my debit card information but asked what my name was . Well if I was selected by the government then how do they not know my name ? I hung up . It's definitely a scam.
