They said they are collecting sponsers for disabled vets and ask if they can send you a sponser packet in the mail.  They didn't ask for cc info or anything shady.  I gave them my mailing address to send me a packet. If it turns out to be a non-thing i will come back and let you know,  but it SEEMED legit...just so hard to trust anyone nowadays.

July 26, 2016. Location said "South Bend, WA". Left no message. Likely unwanted solicitation. Blocked.

Received a call from this number at 10:46 a.m  from South Bend, WA.  Unidentified caller.  I figure if a caller is legit, they will allow themselves to be identified by caller ID.  Blocked number.

Hung up when i answered

Repeat Caller ID: "South Bend, WA," I answered by accident. He asked for a person by name. When told wrong number, he launches into a Diasbled Vets line pressing for donations. When declined, he continued to press. I hung up on the call. They continue to call my number. Since I don't want to be pressured for donations - I blocked this number; but, I see they call from several different numbers. I'll block every one.

I've received call from this number and a similar number. No message is left and call was not answered. Added to blocked call list.

These fools need to be locked up. The number is from the Belingham, Vancouver area. I'm on a no sylisatting calling list so I know the y are frauds.

I am on a no sylisatting calling list and have no problems. That's how I know this number is a fraud and it's a cell number.

dead air when I answered. I have been getting a lot of charity calls from 360-208- numbers. Veterans, law enforcement, firefighters...

Go a call form these toads and they said they were a charity for disabled vets. I said, "I am a disabled vet."  They hung up.

First off, we know it's a fake because South Bend, WA doesn't have a Disabled American Veterans!!! How do I know this?? I'm from South Bend, WA...population a few hundred including squirrels, deer and possums!!!

These clowns are preying on people's support for Vets. If a Vet is disabled due to a service related incident, they can get help via the VA. The same for homeless Vets. These people are trying to scam you out of your money. They don't support vets.

I don't answer the phone unless I recognize the number or the name of the caller. even though I have been applying for jobs and do expect unknown phone numbers to call me. I figure if it's important they will leave their name and a phone number and a message.  Someone called me from this number yesterday and I didn't answer. They did not leave a message. Then I kept getting reminders on my phone as well as on my TV screen to call back the number. I decided to Google it and find out about it first. I'm really glad I did. Now I see a lot of people have received a call from the same number and it's not worth it to call it back. Thank you
