- Caller: ??
- ConsumerYesterday when I got home, I too found a garbled message from this caller. I did, however make out two words, 'Viagra' and 'Oxycodon.' Somewhere else, I'm sorry I didn't copy and URL, (MrNumber?) this caller was identified as Canadian Pharmacy.
This is what I do: I never answer the phone if I don't like what I see on Caller ID. That is, 'unknown name,' 'Seattle, WA' (The ENTIRE city of Seattle is requesting a conversation with me??? How funny...) or any other such nonsense that skirts the revelation of who the caller actually is, I let my answering machine deal with the scum. I don't have to and neither do you.
I played this message over several times and finally made out those two words, 'Viagra' and 'Oxydocon.' So, when I filed my complaint with the FCC, I mentioned these words. If you too hear them mention drug names, be sure to mention this in your complaints. The reason why it's important is that it's a federal offense in the US to sell drugs like this - they are controlled substances and subject to, well, federal control.
These criminals, whether they are really going to sell drugs or not, are still violating the law and are no different than your average drug dealer. You need to mention this with those complaints. Think RICO predicates. Every drug dealer has a 'handler' with attachments to organized crime syndicates. Don't let them escape the scrutiny.
And, you really don't have to answer those calls. I never do and, believe me, I'm doing just fine. I've turned the ringer off of my phone and don't hear the phone at all unless someone leaves a message. This practice has brought me an incredible piece of mind.- Caller: Canadian Pharmacy (?)

- ConsumerHere's where I found the posts linking this number with Canadian Pharmacy telemarketing:

This would certainly explain why the only two words I could understand in the message they left were 'Viagra' and 'Oxycodon.'- Caller: Canadian Pharmacy (?)
