dept of treasury: stated we were in trouble with our taxes wife hung up

Received calls but they left no messages.  Very annoying.

Rec'd a call from this number and as stated in comments above, it was from Dennis Gray with "an enforcement action." The message was repeated three times. He stated It was executed by the U.S. Treasury and ignoring it will result in a grand jury for a criminal offense. He advised cooperation. The gentleman had a slight accent. I am on the "Do not call" list. Think this needs referral.

Said he was my name and authorized by Treasury and if I don't call back then I will face felony charges. Definitely not me calling myself. Plus this guy had a thick accent.

3rd time ive got this same robo message. Someone saying IRS is after you. If you ask for any credentials they hang up. I called back from a different phone once. Played dumb. Said I was returning a call. When they asked my name I tossed a fake one and what a surprise they were expecting my call... I hope someone catches these dirt bags.

R received a phone call from this number claiming I old money for my 2011 taxes. The caller had an accent and was very defensive when I asked who she was and what agency she was from.  I demanded her name and phone number and she tried to talk over me and I told her I was with law enforcement and she said that if I didn't cooperate or would be active for my arrest. I told her I needed to speak to her Superior and she hung up on me. This is a scam.

This number called my father's house and left a message stating to return the call or he would be in federal trouble.  Something to do with the treasury dept. Name given was Something Gray. Had what sounded like an Indian accent. My father called the number and only got what he called " elevator music" I advised him to ignore and not call the number back.

Same here. Said I had some problem with Treasury Department. "Dennis Gray" might be a bit more believable if he could speak English clearly. Call Bock is a wonderful thing.

Phony call regarding a "magistrate".

Ignored the call, then googled the number and found this site...  Called them back on a lan line.  A guy with Indian accent answered and said "????? Dept"...    I told him I wanted to order some plumbing supplies...  he had no clue what that meant and hung up on me.

The number is being traced and looked into.

You minimize yourself and your message with ToTALLY INAPPROPRIATE language and making it political.

Tried to say I was in trouble with my taxes and would not give me any  more information. Very rude heavy accent and pretty much a scam.

received a call from "Dennis Gray" saying he was with the treasury department. I hung up before the robot finished his statement.

Called at 7:15am! No message. Caller ID: unavailable
