It looks like this guy (or possibly several individuals) are still at it using this number.  The one that contacted me uses a similar MO as the ones reported here.  Contacted me via Facebook asking if I'd like to be his friend - then proceeds to gain trust by just chatting and being friendly.  During messages he introduces his "story", widowed, caring for his mum, 13 yr old daughter in boarding school, lives in Edinburgh Scotland and owns/operates his own construction equipment supply company.  As the messages/friendship continues, he travels to Indonesia for a business trip but gets stuck there when equipment shipment has to be paid for and the bill is suddenly higher than contracted because he is a foreigner.  He takes his daughter along on the trip and she gets sick and needs emergency hospitalization that eventually turns into needed surgery and he has no money and can't get it sent to him in time.  In this day and age money can be transferred instantly from and to any bank, not taking the 10-12 days he claimed it would.  I called his bluff when he asked for money (claimed he'd pay me back later and asked that I not discuss this with anyone)  and within a minute or two he deleted his account so he's on the run and will likely pop up to work up another less cautious victim.

Any time you meet someone online, check out the facts given.  The FB profile showed a pleasant looking fellow, pretty 13 yr old daughter and over time he sent pictures of his street (with no identifying signs) and then equipment sitting in the port waiting to be delivered.  This guy is smooth, charming and seems to be a gentle churchgoing family man by the name of Alexander Bryce Martin.  I suspect that all pictures were pulled from other people's profiles or just off the internet.  When I looked for him or his company - there was no internet trace of either except for a simple FB page with very little history or activity.  He texted me asking me to text him back at an Indonesian number but the number that came up on my phone was the 360-234-2394 number out of Buckley Washington.  Searching further provided many stories of people being taken advantage of and being harassed by these criminals.  Be alert, check facts and back off if something seems amiss - these guys are clever enough to hold real jobs but prefer to sit on their computers and pull in money from unwitting victims.

I think it's the same guy who I got text from 3602352394. His name is Hook John on Facebook. He called me from 4478652103247. He claim as engineer who won a contract in UK. He's a widow with 1 son living with hus mom in the US. All the messages i got from him in facebook identical to all the messages that other women had reported. So this guy is been doing this scam for a while now. I just got curios so I checked the number he called me and texted me at it turns out he's a big scammer. Good thing I caught it on time before giving him more info about me.

I recieved mess from the guy name David Moberg, from California. But it is registered in WA. I think he's trying to scam me. I looked up this number and said is's a scam. I can't find him on the internet. Also He asked me to buy a PS3 to send to his son for his birthday. I don't think so. He also said he wanted to get married someday.

I have been talking to a guy name ambros scott he asked me for my cell number and firstvtext came from 4074874670 next one came from 3602342394 and last one came from 3602342383. thus man wants to get married, gets romantic sayings and post them in messges to me. he said he us a widow. and that he lost his wife and son five years ago and promised not to see any women for 5 years at their death. he says he lives in Dallas, Tx. on fb goes by ambros scott is this who any of you women been talking to. email ambros-scott44@yahoo.com

A dangerous scammer

I received a text message "accidentally" from this number when I'd been texting with someone + who called himself/themselves Alan Kyler, using 715-629-9818 from Wisconsin. In Malaysia on a big pipeline contract! The Malaysian phone was 011601116414172.

He has a Facebook account by the name of Alan Kyler. Emailed from Alankyler_@hotmail.com (important to have the underline space before the @). His Facebook account said he's from Ft. Lauderdale, though he claimed to be from Elm Grove, Wisconsin on PerfectMatch.

Met him on PerfectMatch.com in August 2013. His story is similar to those told here. Widower, 10yo son lives with mother, he travels often as engineer in oil business. Stuck in Malaysia, needs money...

October 2013, he has closed the account he used with me and opened another PerfectMatch account, still "Alan" 48yo but now from Ft. Lauderdale, FL to match the Facebook! He likely uses a phone w area code for Ft. Lauderdale.
These people are part of a syndicate in Malaysia, can Google "Malaysia romance scams" for much more info. Steer clear!

I have been recieving text from a male on facebook named Calvin Roberts. Claims he is on an oil rig in the ocean and works for Exon. Single male with a 17yr old daughter named Kim.
Says he is in love with me and wants to spend his life with me .... yeah right !!!
within 2 weeks of texting he was asking for money .
I told him to leave me alone but he keeps texting .
