I'm on a DO NOT CALL LIST,  no msg..called the # back. why do I still get marketing calls ?

I didn't answer the call and no message was left.  The number was displayed in the normal place but the number was also displayed where the name would normally be so I knew it was some kind of scam call.  I did report to the 'Do Not Call' website which will do nothing but possibly make me feel better.

Received this call at 3:05 PM today July 11th.  I a sick to death of unwanted calls whether they
are bill collectors, marketing, political, I say, leave us alone!!!  Congress could stop these
unwanted calls if they wanted to, they are too lazy.

Report scammers to the Do Not Call Registry so they can be caught and prosecuted.

Yep, got another one today. Reactivitated my Do Not Call registry a couple of months ago. Looks like its not working to well this time around. Started getting a bunch of calls about 4 months ago.

I received a call from this number few  minutes ago which showed up as Marysville, WA on my caller ID.  Upon looking into this number further it turns out to be a spoof number.  Anyone can buy spoof cards which make it appear as though someone else is calling rather than the acual person dialing.  In this case, it came from a disgruntled family member who lives nowhere near the state of Washington.

get these unknow numbers all the time . sometimes they are red cross or state troopers even the local fire deptarment wanting money. sometimes the are political calls wnating to know who you are voting for and sometimes they are something called matimatica doing surveys on education. I have asked them to stop calling, I have tried hanging up on them and just not answering them. They still keep calling. It is getting very old. have been on do not call lists since they first started they are no good.

PEOPLE!! LISTEN UP!!....The Do Not Call List is NOT going to help you, nor make complaints to any government agency.  These spam marketing calls are made over the internet (Think Majic Jack, OK?).  Seriously hard to trace.  Not only that but the telephone number you see on your caller ID is SPOOFED (bogus, generated by a computer program).  It is a generated number and NOT the number calling you.  Add just these 2 facts together (there are more) and you will understand why the spammers do not care anything about a DNC list or what you can do about it.

Left this go to the machine and all there was was static.  If whoever it is isn't man enough to say something, then to heck with them.  No one seems to care about the DNC list or anything else anymore.  This is extremely frustrating.  Between this and spam mail, I'm about ready to quit all communication devices.

I too am on the do not call list.I live in Vermont and have no idea why a company or person would call me from Washington state. Have caller i.d. do not answer these calls.

360-322-6269 called me today.  I have blocked all calls from area code 360 using a Digitone Call Blocker because a large number of junk calls I get are from the 360 area code.  

One telemarketing firm who is responsible for a lot of telemarketing calls discussed here is using a carrier which is allocated a large group of phone numbers in the 360 area code.

This auto dialer has called this week already under a different  number  425-390-8929 they offer the same GE wireless home security system with a medical alert service for seniors. This time I pressed 1 and asked the representative that I spoke with to remove me from the call list. We will see if they will call again. The caller ID only lists the number instead of a caller name or caller unkown. The 425-390-8929 number comes up as washington.

I live in Souther California and all of my phone number are listed on the Do Not Call list but they still seem to get through.

I as well live in Vermont, and I loathe this types of calls.  I as well am on a do not call list, but seemingly this has never been effective.  So annoying!  It is a no-win situation...

I'm so sick of these A.H.'s.  Why can't they get a normal job and leave us working stiffs alone!
