Totally false voice, computer reading a script. IRS only contacts you by mail.- Caller: Says they are the IRS
- L| 1 replyI got two calls from this number today One was at 8:10am and the other was after 11am. They left a message both time all it said was call us back immediately at are department number 360-329-4901 the number that they supposedly called from. The caller Id said the phone number 360-329-4901 and it said port orchard wa. I do not know who they are I believe they are scammer.
PS:
To the other comments that there message said they were the IRS and that they were suing you the IRS dose not call you to tell you that there is an Issue they would send you a letter in the mail or you would be getting subpoena or a summons delivered to you at your front Door by a official who delivers those type of stuff. Don't call the number back if you think there's a ligament issue you might have with the IRS I would call the IRS directly to find out if there is a issue or not. You can get the IRS phone number of there official web sight if you need it.- Caller: don't know
- Dawn replies to LJust got this call and called them back. He wanted to see my boobs, do a port with me and then wanted to sell me facial cream. I had a long talk with him and before the call was over he was apologizing to me.
- PaulaI have received three calls today from this number. I didn't answer ( didn't recognize the number). An automated voicemail said the IRS was suing me. I know the IRS does not leave voicemail! I blocked the number (360)329-4901 after the second call, but the third call came through anyway! This scammer has figured a way around "call blocker".
- IBA robo-call that claims that a "this is a final notice" and that a "law suit will be filed against you by the IRS". I got similar calls from other numbers where the robo-call had a heavy Indian accent.
This is a scam. Government agencies like the IRS contact via mail only. Never phone or email. - PAT POPESame as the others---IRS calling you have not attended to the matter, etc
- Call type: Debt collector
- BAW replies to perry mooreDitto the same message. Ive gotten about 5 in the past two days, calling me as early as 6 am.

This is a violation of Federal law, Title 18, Part I, Chapter 43, ss 912, "...falsely assumes or pretends to be an officer or employee acting under the authority of the United States or any department, agency or officer thereof..."
