    I got exactly the same message and tried to answer it was a computer. Tried to call back and all you ever get is a busy signal.

    No!  The IRS will always make initial contact via USPS.  I have received too many to count.  Please ignore their call and block if possible.

    This is a bogus operations that is based overseas. The IRS does not initiate contact over the phone.

    Received the same call as all the others listed here.  Totally a bogus call.  Caller said we are being sued by I.R.S. using this number to call:  360-329-6017.

    I got the same message on a Friday, all weekend I worried terribly and was considering taking my own life.
    This idiots probably succeeded out there.  They have no clue the stress level they put someone through.
    I hope the get caught and prosecuted.

    We're sure they have. Besides having swindled thousands out of millions of dollars, these hardcore criminals are getting their jollies from terrorizing people. There was a local news story a couple of months ago about an elderly couple who was almost taken in to the tune of $5,000. The woman, fearing she and her husband would be jailed, got in their car and drove to the bank. An alert teller, noticing how frightened she was, found out she was being scammed and called the police. Many, many others have not been so fortunate.
