Robo call supposedly from I.R.S., but out of Bellingham, WA. ? Probably a scam. If the I.R.S. wants to get hold of you they write and call personally.

Left numerous messages from 360-347-1794 & 360-851-4838, stating a lawsuit was filed against me by the IRS. When calling back the numbers on Saturday morning, the phone just rings and rings. This has to be a scam.. The IRS I'm sure has an automated system at the least.

There is a widespread IRS (or CRA) or "tax scam" being  practiced by scammers on both USA and Canadian residents.

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.

Bogus call. Received a voice mail with the recorded message regarding a "Lawsuit from IRS". Returned the call but of course there was no answer. The U. S Department of the Treasury does not call threatening lawsuits. The first and any contact from the US Department of the Treasury, many people refer to as the IRS, will be by a letter.

Didn't fool me,looked the number up,was a scam,already reported.

I have also recieved the same.  I did not call the number however, I called the irs and it is a scam.

Got a "final notice" call from this number stating the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me. I realize it has to be a scam since it was a robo call and the IRS has never contacted me by postal mail, as they state is heir practice, nor have I received any type of court documents.

Gave me quite a fright though.

Living in Kansas City and got the same call, funny thing for the past nine years I have worked at THE IRS!

I did not get a call with this number on my caller ID but it had this number in the message to call back.  This is the full message.

"Notice from IRS Internal Revenue Service. The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing a lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file. Please call immediately on our department number 360-347-1794. I repeat the number 360-347-1794. Thank you."

I too received a voicemail saying that they where from the IRS (1-360-347-1794) that there was a law suit against me for not paying taxes.....so I called to find out.  As soon as I heard the guy speak I knew it was a scam. I  comfronted him and all of a sudden the line went quite.  I hung up the phone and I decided to call him back and have just gotten a busy signal.  So glad that I know now to look online to find out about these scams.

Got a call from this number and also from (253) 336-5361 leavin mesages stating this was the last notice for a final lawsut from IRS. When I called back both numbers the voice of the answering machine is from the same lady with a very strong voice saying the person I am traying to reach is unavailable. Don't mention IRS at all. Called IRS directly, and it's a scam. This people is traying to intimidate elderly people. Bunch of scammers, why don't you find a job a get to work!!!!

this number just called me today too.

1-360-34-1794 this number just called my home and cussed me out big time cause  I called them a scammer lol. They said i owed the irs alot of money from back taxes.lol crazy people need to get a real job and quit trying to scam people

Received 3 calls in one day, every time the call back # is different. Scam - don't fall for it!

I have also received a call from this number, leaving a voice message stating as others have said "this is IRS calling, and this is your final notice.  As there has been a lawsuit filed against you, call 360-347-1794 immediately."

Same message as the rest,but over the summer last year,these same ppl led me to beleive they were from the government grant dept.They got 150.00 outa me,before i realized it was a scam when they asked for more money,i had a friend check out the address they had given me in fresno calif.turned out no one had been in that building the last 7 years.dont fall for it like i did...

Got an automated call saying I need to call 360-347-1794 about an IRS issue. I called, the person barely spoke English and started saying that I owe $4K + for an error in my tax from 2009-2013. I asked if this was a scam and he hung up.

Received several calls and msgs telling me to call this number as something (msg was cut off every time) had been filed against me. I never answer numbers that I don't know or recognize. Seeing from the posts this appears to be a scam

I received a call from them too. Announced name sounded like IRS. Threatened law suite. I called the number. Phone rang at least a dozen times before a mal answered. He announced as EIRS. I asked what company it was just to make sure what they call themselves but he hung up.
