This was a recorded IRS scam call

This has to be a TELEMARKETER/SCAMMER using a ROBOCALL device. How do I know? The call was picked up by answering machine (which a HUMAN would recognize!)... therefore all I got was the "tail-end" of the message... which said CALL 360-369-4015 ASAP since it was URGENT and repeated the number.
Yea Right!?! Like I would call ANYONE back that I didn't recognize NOR deal with.  So much for being on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY... or maybe it's the RESULT of being on the registry. Who knows!

I must have received the same message, or tail end thereof, stating that (whoever) is filing a lawsuit against me. At first I called the number back but got a busy signal. Then it just rang and rang and a robot voice said, "Your party is not answering. Please call back later."

A man told me that I owed $3200.00 and would be arrested for unpaid taxes!! They were going to shut down everything with my name on it, unless I paid them!!

Its a scam and its all over this message board.  There must be hundreds of scammers using this line.

The way it works, the scammer gives you a chance to avoid arrest by paying the bill right this second.  It has to be paid by giving him your credit card number or bank account number over the phone.  And the scammer immediately starts spending of your money.  Or it can be paid by Green Dot card, which you have to purchase at WalMart right this minute.

If you fell for it call your bank and whatever account you gave him, get the account number changed.  Do it now, before he has time to spend all of your money.  Its already too late to stop payment sent by Green Dot card.

This Man who calls him self Peter Blake just threatened me about 10 min ago. He has left messages for months now and this time the recording was from a female voice stating it was the IRS.  The area code I called back was Washington state and not DC. He did not speak english well and I told him Peter Blake sounded like a english speaking white man. He was pissed and started yelling at me. Told me he tried to serve papers 2 times to the door and we would not answer and I owe back taxes from 2008-2013. I told him the IRS would send something through the mail. He claimed they would not. He said if I hang up, I was refusing payment and have me arrested.

 Called twice within an hour ,  claimed IRS notification of lawsuit .     annoying,  irritating [***] .    shut them down now .   cut their nuts off .

I got home form work and have a message saying that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me for unpaid taxes and I should call right away,  I know that's not true but I wanted to see what kind of scam this is.  Also it clearly is a robot call.  Sadly some people fall for these scams!

This number left a message on my voicemail saying it was from the IRS and they were filing suit against me -- it was a computer voice, not a person -- and it gave me a number to call for more information. Scan call saying IRS is filing suit against us--to call. Make this stop! Some people will be fooled into calling this fool.

I called the number back and told him he sounded like a camel [***]....that pissed him off.

Same IRS scam..............I called them back 7 told them they had reached the Sheriffs Office.............maybe they will quit.

Have received two robocalls in the last two days telling me to call 360-369-4015 because the IRS is suing me. I just called the number and after about thirty rings someone who can't really speak English picks up. The only thing I could understand was "this is IRS" and "if you don't believe me......" and that's when I hung up.

Just was left a message that the  IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and to call this number. The called id said "Out of Area". How do these people live with themselves1

Missed a call from this number that left a message that IRS is filling a lawsuit against me and this is a final attempt to contact me.

Just got the same phone call.  Left us a message on the machine.  Wasn't directed to anyone in particular was the tip off that it was a scam.  Deleted the msg and went on line to see if others got this caller ID.

I just received a robo call from these people about a lawsuit being filed by the IRS, this came out of nowhere. I know for a fact the IRS will send notices in the mail if you owe taxes. I dont owe taxes so I know this is a complete scam. Dont fall for this!

I  just got the call also , they said my last chance to pay up or I will be locked up , good take me away

Unfortunately most (if not all)  are in India or Pakistan.
