At 10:13 AM today I received a call from this number, with the caller ID of Coastal Aire Cn.  The woman making the call asked if I would answer a thirty seond survey about environment.  This was agreed to, and the first questions were about local air quality, then on to allergies, and what kind of filters were used in this house. She then asked for my first name which I refused to give She asked for my age range, whether it was over seventy.  She got an affirmative reply.

For the first time in the conversation a prize was mentioned, and if I won could she call me back?  Again an affirmative answer from me.  Today's
Boise,Idaho's newspaper has a story about this same operation.

I received a call this morning (7/24) at 10:52 a.m. displayed on Caller ID as Coastal Aire CN - 360-373-2312.  I didn't recognize the caller so I didn't answer the phone.  No message was left.  Being curious, I googled Coastal Aire CN with no results.  However, there was a post from another person who had received a similar call so I did a reverse phone number inquiry.  The first source reported the number as unpublished.  Another source gave a name and address as Nelia Mejia, 2827 Pine Road NE, Bremerton, WA 98310.  Possibly a scam targeting the elderly?

I, too, received a call from this person.  Read my post immediately after yours.  Would you give me the name of the paper the article you read appeared in?  Perhaps I can find it online.  I suspect that this is a scam targeting the elderly.

A received my second call from Coastal Aire and like an idiot I agreed to be home tomorrow for my prize.  After reading these posts I should have said no to them.  Any idea how I can call them to cancel their visit?

These people kept calling me too.
I got curious enough to agree to have them come out to my place to give me my prize.  When the guy arrived he had an aire filter and a vaccum to sell me.  The total price for two aire filters and the vaccum was like $4500.00.  They would give a 1200.00 discount for trading in your old vaccum.  The vaccum alone was 2600.00.
When the young woman, Catheryn, had told me I had "won" a prize she gave me a choice, I chose a knife set.  The guy, Ron who came to my house said I had to sit through a demonstration and fill out a questionaire to get the knives.  This had never been mentioned by Catheryn.
While the guy was very insistant, I was more so.  I did let him give me a short 20 minute showing, I was actually interested in the vaccum untill I heard the price.  It is nice but .......  I did keep on insisting that I get my knife set.  He finally told me that he did not have a set with him and tried to give me some other 'prize'. (Why did they ask ahead of time what prize I wanted if they were not going to have it on hand??)  I insisted on the knives.  He finally told me that he would deliver a set to me next week.  I will not hold my breath on this.  But I do hope he keeps his word.
Also, Catheryn had asked what time would be goode for Ron to be at my house.  I told her 12:30.  Ron called the day before to verify that 12:30 was still a goode time.  Then on the day he calls at 1225 and says he will be here at 12:30.  He finally showed at 1:40.

Got a call from these people... took the survey.  A couple days later they called to say I won a prize - and like John, I also somehow got roped into having someone come to the house. I tried calling this morning to cancel, to say I just am not interested.  No answer or voice mail..... hmmm.... guess I just won't be home then.

A woman called and wanted to talk about "Air Pollution"..I told her she had the right party as I had worked at ITT RAYONIER pulpmill in Port Angeles(the number one polluter in the state of Washington since the state had kept track for 30 years) as a chemical (chlorine, caustic soda, acids--sulfuric, nitric, phosphoric, hydrochloric) handler/master journeyman pipefitter..YOU BET I COULD TALK ABOUT AIR POLLUTION!!..I guess she did not appreciate my expertise as she promptly hung up on me...big bill

Received call from Coastal Aire. Asked to participate in survey about pollution and air quality. Did so. They asked for first name. Now we keep getting calls from them from three seperate numbers 360-373-2315, 360-373-2317 and 360-373-2289. When they don't reach the person they are looking for they hang up. If they get an answering machine they don't leave a message. Very annoying. Tried to call them back - they picked up the phone and hung up.

Coastal Aire Cn is the caller ID tag for Coastal Aire Concepts, a telemarketer operating under the parent name TeleTech.  They are located at the intersection of State Hiway 303 and McWilliams Rd.  They take contracts for telemarketing and phone surveys from many clients.  I found who they were by searching on the number and finding MySpace pages for some of their employees.  I was able to confirm all by checking their business license info on state government sites.  The Pine Rd address is an earlier post is actually about a half mile away in an apartment complex.  There are no businesses there.  I don't believe them to be involved in scams, but anything is possible.  FYI.

We got a call from Coastal Aire. The same questions about air quality were asked as noted in other postings. They ask when we would be home and tried to schedule an appointment. I spoke with someone who identified himself as Brandon. It seems that their phone number has changed to 360-373-2001. I am on the National Do Not Call list and will report them.

I saw a blue poker scratch card in my newspaper yesterday 10/20 and decided to play.  I was surprised to have a "winning hand." So I called the local number on the card 360-373-2001 and a female answered the phone.  I asked her what was the winning prize for the winning card I had which was a "Four-of-A-Kind (4 Kings)".  She said that my card had to be verified and said that every card was a winning card. She also asked me some questions, age, marital satus, any allergies... then she asked for MY NAME & ADDRESS so they could send my prize.  That rung a bell in my head, so I just told her could I come to your office instead to pick up my prize.  She gave me their address which was on Auto Center Way in Bremerton.  I then decided to google their company name and found it was all a SCAM!!!!! Thanks for this website!

    Call Log:
October 15 12:38pm - I completed a survey about air quality. They said my name was entered in to win some prize. I didn't think anything of it.
October 16 8:47pm - Saw they were calling on my caller ID... but let the machine grab it. No message
October 17 1:17pm - Saw on my caller ID that they called while I was at work... no message again.
October 22 4:05 pm - "Catherine" told me I had won a prize... an all expense paid trip... I agreed to set up an appointment at my house to give us the prize package... Said both my husband and I needed to be there to sign for it... So I googled it and read these messages. Fearful I called the number 1-360-373-2001 (Which I found online) and asked to speak with Catherine. When she got on the phone I told her that I couldn't make our appointment and would have to "reschedule." I said I would call them... though I have a feeling they will be calling me.

The Number on my caller ID was 1-360-373-2289 but when I called that number it just rang. The number I was able to connect with is one I found online ending in 2001.

I also had the same phone calls as most above, did a survey, won a prize, set up a time and date to receive, both of us had to be home, test a product, etc. Befor our appointment, I felt very unsure of the entire thing and tried to do some research, this web site is the only one that I was able to find any information at.  Need less to say all of the numbers that I tried to call were worthless.  The only number that did work was 360-373-2001, talked to the same supervisor that I had talked to the day befor and told them that they may not come to my house, and to take our number off of their calling list.  We are registered on the do not call list and it will do no good to report them as they consider themselves a company doing surveys.  Be very alert to any calls from them.

My wife received a call earlier last week to take the "Survey" re air pollution.. She agreed to do so. Two later calls from female named "Katherine" claiming she won a prize were answered by me (who was unaware of wifes earlier contact); she refused to talk to me, so I passed third call to wife. Wife was promised a free beach weekend if they could come out to our house when both of us were home tomorrow at 5:30 PM. Wife agreed, then told me. I smelled a rat, googled this site. and immediately called back to (360) 373-2001. A male answered, I told him who I was, and specifically "uninvited " them from the appointment. Just to be sure, we'll not be home. My thanks to Google and this site!

I too received a call twice, the first was she asked me to answer some questions and i did. then after a couple of month i received again a call telling me that i won and made me select the prize that i want. although i was thinking this might be scam because of unbelievable prize that they mentioned i gave them name and our address telling to me that they will deliver the said prize to me and asking if we can give them time to talk on saturday at 10am. i dont want them to come to our house realizing they have hidden agenda. i called up the number they used in calling me but they dont answer the phone. so then i know this might be a scam. i hope the woman who called me up will not show up because i ahve no time really to entertain them. i was only tackful enough the answer them, but i will not tolerate the kind of strategy that they are using to fool persons.   thank you so much for this and hope this will be read by concern person who according to them from coastal aire. i received a call 11-6-08.

These people did not call me-- I called them because I was responding to a too-good-to-be-true employment ad on Craig's List.  I scheduled an interview with them and then searched for their company on-line and didn't find anything except this website and a similar one about their scams.  The address they gave me is the same address that is in our Bremerton phone book, and the number listed in the phone book is the same as you have listed above (although the number on their Craig's List ad-- the number I had called-- is 373-2249).  Obviously I'm not going to interview with these people!  Thank you for your posts of this company-- I'm glad I didn't waste my time and gas going there.  Below is their employment ad from Craig's List.

My 1st contact with this company, they called (in the July time frame) and claimed to be a "research firm" and asked if i wanted to participate in an "air quality survey."  I agreed to the quick survey at the conclusion of which they informed me that there is a prize drawing for those who participate in the drawing and then asked my permission to call me back should i win. I agreed to receive that call.  A few days later, they called me back with news that i won the drawing and asked to schedule a time to deliver my prize.  As a parenthesis to delivering the prize, they asked if i could give a "quick opinion" on a "medial device."  The delivery of my prize (which, by the way, they did not have the prize i chose) was really a 2 hour sales pitch of a $4500 (yes thousands) vacuum cleaner and another equally overpriced air filter.  I politely declined to buy their product and sternly expressed my disgust with their business practices.

A few weeks later, they called again (still posing as a research firm) and asked me if i wanted to participate in a survey.  I informed the person on the phone that they have already called me for this "survey."  To my amazement, she asked if i wanted to participate again.  Must think im really stupid.  I declined, and requested to be placed on their do not call list.  They have since then called my house at least twice.  This is a scam.  they are not a "research firm," they are a sales firm, since i've been on the donotcall list from its 1st day, the very act that they called me in the first place is illegal.  These people sell a disgustingly overpriced vacuum to unsuspecting people (especially elderly) under the guise that its a "medical device."  Please! Its a bloody vacuum cleaner!  Oh, the prizes they offered; they asked if i wanted a "German knife set" and i think another prize was a 3 day vacation somewhere.  Unfortunately, these prizes were "out" and i had the choice of a 6 dollar microwave dish.  These people are absolute scum.  Today, i filed a complaint at www.donotcall.gov
