I actually spoke to some body briefly, they said hello and I said I am returning the phone call and gave him my phone number. After that he hanged up on me. The man accent sounded  as somebody from India or middle east accent. The message I got when I answered the phone call from 360-450-5821 was a recorded(female voice) regarding IRS claim against me, and said to know more about it call 360-450-5821.To be safe I was not planning to give them my SS#, I did not know they were really IRS, and I don't owe anything to IRS as far as I know. To be safe don't give sensitive information to anyone who you don't know  who they are, they might want to steal your Identity. I believe if IRS is filing a claim against me I will receive that claim in the mail.

I received the same call but thankfully I already knew that the IRS sends you notices to your home.  When I called the 360 number back I told them I had spoken. With the true IRS and that I did not owe any money and that they were scamming people and they hung up.  Do not ever give them your information it is a scam the IRS will always send you mailed letters to inform you if you owe money!

Received a call "IRS is trying to reach you, etc..."
When I called back  the person said "IRS"
When I asked whom am I speaking to, he hung up.

Left word on answering machine that call was from IRS.  Said IRS was about to sue me.  SCAM.  IRS does not call you.  Do not give them any information.

got a recorded voicemail saying that THE IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and I have had them call me once before. I asked where they seen that I owed anything to them and he couldnt answer my questions he was acting like an idiot and hung up on me. I kept calling and asking what address they had on file and why they havent sent me a notice if that was the case. He hung up again and was some sort of Indian decent. JUST A SCAM, IRS SENDS YOU INFORMATION TO YOUR HOUSE AND WILL NOTIFY YOU. DONT FALL FOR IT

They just called me and gave me the recording that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me!!!  I knew better and I, too knew that the IRS doesn't contact people over the phone with a recording.  Beware.  It's totally a scam and they are probably looking to have people pay them a certain amount with a credit card to avoid the IRS lawsuit.  LOL.  Not on my watch.

Got a call from 360-450-5821 at 12:06pm CST -- I let the answering machine get it.  A muffled, low-fidelity recording of a female voice informed me that the "IRS" had a case against me.  (If you're reading this because you received that same call, RELAX.)  I didn't panic (much), as I recalled reading that this sort of thing was always a SCAM, that the real IRS would contact you via snail mail…NOT the phone.  I googled the phone number, and *voilà*…it is indeed a SCAM!  As others have suggested, they likely hope to con people into paying them to avoid a lawsuit.

I got the same voicemail today. Very mechanical and artificial sounding voice. Claims the IRS is filing a law suit against me. Really? For what? They know how much I'm not worth!!!
The IRS does not robo-call if they really intend to audit, investigate, charge or prosecute someone. They just send a SWAT team from the DOJ to bash your door in and arrest you.
This is not even a good scam....it's a total joke.

Received message from this tel. #.  Female recorded message stating it was the irs & requesting I call back. SCAM! don't waste your time caller is trolling.

Received one call from this number claiming that the IRS is bringing a suit against us and to call them back immediately to get the details of the case. Received two followup calls within 2 hours from different number (360 200 4549), with same message about IRS filing a suit against us. I'm on DO NOT CALL list - useless!

Just got a call this morning. Left a voice mail that there was an irs case against me and I needed to call 360-450-5821 immediately. Scam, scam! They will probably keep calling. Where do they get our phone numbers? Don't fall for their tricks!

i got this call too,at 830 am . it was a recording when I called back a man with thick accent gave me a case number. I called tax man he called irs. the irs does not even have case numbers like the man gave me. the scammer must be new at this,he isn't very good at it.  the only creepy thing was he knew my name but that is public information. I will just hang up on them from here on out. good to know irs always send a letter.

I received a call on my answering machine today, it said they were calling about a lawsuit that the IRS was filling agasinst me.  IRS would send a certified letter if this was true.

I got another call the next day.  Same recorded message (better sound quality this time) from 281-393-8211.  281 is my area code.  Same scam.  I didn't bother answering.  Here is info which PROVES THIS KIND OF CALL TO BE A SCAM:

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I keep getting recorded calls from this number.
