Asked to call irs we are in trouble

Told me that I owed almost $5,000 and that I was going to jail because of some tax issues that were mistakes on my part. And that I had an outstanding warrant now and I would see them in the "Court of Washington DC"

Said I had a claim against me and to call this number to resolve. A total SCAM.

left a message stating that my daughter needed to call regarding IRS lawsuit. We called and female stated that numerous letters were sent to us in regards. We asked for their address and she fumbled with her words and stated Washington DC! Told her to go kick rocks and she hung up the phone! Total [***]…

Claimed they were the IRS and that they've made several attempts to reach me regarding a "serious bill" I owed them. I hung up because I knew it was a scam. They then called back from a different number (509-560-4207) and this time I asked to speak to a supervisor. They questioned why and when I demanded a supervisor they hung up.  Nice scam.
