Automated message.  They want you take a 10 question poll to receive a 2-person cruise to the Bahamas.  Didn't bother with the poll to determine if this is legit.

How do I place this and similar acting calls on a do not call list?

a fog horn sounded, and "my captain" started talking. so i hung up. assuming they wanted me to buy a cruise ticket or something.

I did not answer because I did not recognize area code and number.

A recorded message saying I won a cruise.  What a load of crap!!!

Just received this phone call. I did not answer the call since I did not recognize the number. No voice message left. Assumed it was a spam type call

I missed the call on my cell phone and coming here and reading what others say this is referring to I have blocked the number from calling again.  How our government allows these bottom feeders to harrass us on our cell phones is beyond me.  My cell is for my people only.  Now it is a free for all because of the choices our government made on us.  Its bull crap and I don't put up with anything.  If I ask you to remove my number because you are calling for someone that no longer has this number then I get very angry when they call back.  I am not going to be harrassed by other peoples debtors and I let them have it full force and my language isn't polite.  If I say wrong number its a wrong number.  If I say remove my number and you don't.....you just opened yourself to my wrath and I will unleash it.

Ive been getting calls every once in a while from washington area codes and they all have different numbers, but its all this same cruise crap. I wish I could block out all of Washington, so that this would stop.

What's funny is that even if you place your number on the DNC list, that is why the spammers are using normal area codes - it bypasses DNC list. DNC list is only for 800 numbers and such. If you use a normal area code, spammers will not be blocked out - that is their workaround to DNC list.
