Called asking for a lady who doesn't work at this location. There was a lot of background noise and she could hardley hear me. This lady had a German accent I believe.

Caller with Indian accent had my name , business email address and  wanted to send "free white paper" over the email, however wanted to collect more information about me and my company. Would not disclose his information. When I suggested to send me email first so I can decide what I wand to disclose, he said that they are supposed to collect information first. When I responded that I do not disclose information to unknown callers, unless I can call back myself, he responded in a very rude manner, then hung up.

That was pretty much the call that I got. They asked for someone in upper management who works in another office and got upset when I wouldn't give them the number. Got huffy and said "this is very important" but when I put him on hold he hung up. Guess it wasn't that important.

I have the same situation as you Alex, except they didn't ask for more detailed information.

They have called me on average four times a week, and I have received five calls since asking to not be called again.

Very harassing phone calls. If you don't answer they'll continually call back. Won't leave voicemails. I flagged this number in my phone system as a solicitor and refuse to answer it.

Yup - I get a ton of calls from these guys asking to email over a white paper on x, y, or z - they claim to represent HP or EDS or IBM or other tech companies.

Never got the first two white papers.  Now I never answer them.

Constantly getting calls from this number on my business line. I do not answer anymore. When I did answer previously, it was the same thing as others about offering a whitepaper. I have requested numerous times to be removed form their calling list to no avail.

I have been getting calls from this number for at least a month or so. Whoever they are, they are a major pain in the rear. Sometimes multiple calls a day. I did actually get the whitepapers they mentioned like a week after speaking to them. They still keep calling, but I just immediately hang up or keep transferring them back to the computerized menu on our phone system. Or pick it up and leave it on speaker without talking until they hang up. Have a little fun with them I say!

I am so sick of receiving calls from this number.  They definitely have a foreign accent (can't tell what nationality) and almost always ask for the same guy that left our employ over 10 years ago.  I have told them repeatedly that this employee no longer works here and to quit calling.  It does no good.  Several days or even hours later, the same person calls again.  Annoying and superfluous calls like this take up about 20% of my day.  Why can't we get them stopped??????

I am with you, every time I get a call from this number (which is every day) I act all excited and in the middle of their pitch, I ask them to hold on while I switch to my headset and leave them on hold as will stay there.. LOL
