This is a scam ....do not answer their call. They are calling from India saying they are from Microsoft , and there is a problem with your computer. After 3 months of telling them to stop calling ,the man on the other end told me if I paid him $50.00 he would stop calling, but if I didn't ,he would continue to call everyday ...

Also received call from this number stating that they were from microsoft and that my computer has been hacked.

Says they're from Microsoft and my computer has viruses/has been hacked. Some sort of scam, they've called 3 times in the past week.

Called claiming that he is from IRS. He said that I violated U.S. law and owe tax. They have warrant out for my arrest. He asked me if I want to be transferred to his supervisor (I am sure to collect money) but I hung up.

Says he is from Microsoft, wants to get access to my PC to delete malicious files (!?). Strong Indian accent.

This is a scam. Caller may be in or from India. Claims to be calling from Microsoft about my Windows computer. Same guy calls repeatedly, but from different phone numbers using different names. When I keep telling him he is a lying SOB he finally gets mad and calls me a lying M*F* and hangs up.

These scum tried to pull a IRS scam on me, wanted me to call an 800 number about my non pauyment of irs taxes and a lean would be drawn again all my assests. I did a reverse look up on Dog Pile and the number oringinated from a land line in Silverdale Washington state.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

8 scam calls in 4 hours came from silverdale washington st. on 4th ave between battery st and bell st. scumbag scammer wanted 800 call back in 24hrs to rectify IRS tax payment failure or lean would be put on all my assets and agent would be at my house.

Same thing.  Computer hack.  Once hung up on, the fool called again and said nothing.  My caller ID shows  Supportdept PCC.  Find it hard to believe that with the tech. advances we have today that this fool can't be traced and have his phone shoved up his back side.  Just a thought.

The same number 1-360-633-9199, called today at 4:43 p.m. from Silverdale, Wa (Washington state). I don't have to tell you what this probably means :|

Indian man going on the same old spiel about how "your computer has a virus"

For those of you that may be experiencing this sort of thing for the first time, Microsoft themselves does not call you or have a third party company call on their behalf.

So if someone has called you saying that they work for Microsoft (or "Windows" lol) or that their company works for Microsoft and your computer has a virus that is sending them error reports: it is a scam. DO NOT give out ANY info to them.

Since we have multipurpose scammers, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) does not call for collection over the phone, if you get a call from someone claiming to work for the IRS. Hang up and contact the real IRS and report it.

The IRS customer service number is 1-800-829-1040, call them and let them connect you to an agent that handles scam reports, it happens a lot more than you may think.

This was an obscene call. . . .I answered because I am job hunting.  The language used was of the most horrible and obscene.  I hung up as he was speaking.  Spoke with an accent, I cannot say what it was but it was not European.  Probably middle eastern or south Asian/Indian.   I was upset.  Also, I could hardly hear him at first then the volume increased without me pushing any buttons on my handset.   They are probably tracking these web sites to see what is written and then change the name on the caller ID and have a laugh.  Well, I am sure they believe in Karma.  Beware!

I hope that I didn't start something here.  These a**holes have been calling non-stop for months.  IRS scam and Microsoft  computer (dangerous files) scam.  I told him to go f*** off -- he unleashed on me and I returned the 'compliments'.  Question for readers of this blog -- I am expecting a rash of annoyance calls now because of my vulgar verbosity with this
jerk.  Any tricks that I can use to annoy them even more?

Received a call from this number at 9:58 pm.  Woke me out of a sound sleep and when I answered, there was no one there.  I get up at 4:00 a.m., so I go to bed early. This is the 3rd call that I have had late at night.  This time I am going to report it, not that it will do any good.  The Do Not Call List is as worthless and the people you put on the list. This number will be blocked as the other two I received.

Just got a call from this phone number.  Man with heavy Indian accent said he heard I was looking to have some work done at my home and wanted to have a local contractor call me back to set up time for an estimate.  I get these calls multiple times a day and, since the Do Not Call registry is obviously a joke, I have taken to messing with these slimeballs just to waste their time and long distance.  Kept him on the phone for almost 10 minutes.  By the end, he realized I was wasting his time on purpose but not before I got him to give me the name of the "contractor" (Jim Bilibarto - doesn't come up in a Google search) and the name of the person who "referred" me for an estimate (Gary Vincent).  Since these calls will never stop, I decided to turn it into a test of wills and a little sliver of entertainment.

My Dad in another state just received a call from this number looking for my husband (who has never lived there!). We have lived in another state for years, and my husband has no connection with my Dad's number. No idea how they got those two pieces of information, but they refused to tell my Dad what the call was about. He told them my husband does not live with him. Ugh.
