Stupid home security system robocall..

The message left on a city business phone on 02/05/2015 @ 1855 = "Local police recommend you protect your home. If you will allow us to place a small sign in your yard, we will install a new security system at absolutely no cost to you whatsoever. There is no cost for the system or the installation whatsoever." (Silverdale, WA 360-633-9313). On call-back, it's busy.

Annoying security company saying they will install a security system free, no charge, if we allow them to put a sign in our yard.  (Yeah, right...)
 Listened to the entire message thinking a "remove me from your calling list" existed. (It does not exist.)  Only option is to place on my phone's block list.

Called on cell.  Did not respond.

they called with some sort of home protection. i had to say hello about 3 times.

Many of these telemarketer phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

If you can locate the vendor who is calling, you can take them to court.  An update to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act have given consumers new powers against telemarketers.
All telemarketing calls, except those manually dialed that do not contain a recorded message, are now prohibited without the consumer's prior written consent. (The rule also applies to calls made to cellphones and text messages.)
The established-business-relationship exemption has been eliminated.
Penalties for failing to comply with TCPA regulations are $500 for every unsolicited call or text message, $1,500 if the telemarketer "willfully or knowingly" sends it after the consumer opts out.

They called, I answered so that I could hit the correct number to be placed on the "do not call list". Turns out it was a real person.. So I rudely stopped him and told him to place me on the "DNC" List!

received call stating my business has been selected to receive a $250,000 cash advance. I freaking hate these scammers!! I normally don't answer numbers I dont know but I am expecting a delivery of a new appliance and thought it might be them. :( another blocked number to add to my growing list. It never ends!

"Howard from the loan department.  Your business has been approved..."  and then I hung up.  Call was made to my cell phone, which has been listed on the do not call list.

Caller ID "LOYALM" - Robo-Call: It's "Howard from the loan department"… yeah, right, and I am the queen of Sheeba!

Caller ID showed number and "Silverdale WA" - did not answer, no message left.

CID showed "LOYALM" at this number.  The recording was "Howard from the loan department"  Who knew that it was so easy to qualify for up to $250,000 loans?!

I opted out of their call list by pressing "2"  Curious I'm even on their call list, since I'm supposed to be on the Do Not Call List....hmmmm.  Does anyone else wonder what happened to that concept?

I also called the number back, and got a recording about removing my number from their call list (even more curious: there was no option to speak to a representative).  Tells me a lot about the types of calls that they anticipate.
