If you have more than $10,000.00 in debt press one now to participate in this newly formed bank act to reduce your credit card debt down to zero legally. This will be your only notice to respond. Press eight to opt out. Again press one now to talk to a representative."

- DebbieRecorded message left on answering machine, like above: "If you have more than $10,000.00 in debt, press 1 now to participate in this newly formed bank act to reduce your credit card debt down to zero legally. This will be your only notice to respond. Press 8 to opt out. Again, press 1 now to talk to a representative."
I agree, sounds like a debt collector's scam (or other scam) to get personal information.- Caller: 360-633-9504

- DaSaloRobocall for credit card scam. This voice mail found in the Spam folder in Google Voice. I check the spam folder every so often and BLOCK any new numbers that turn up there. On attempting to call and waste my time again, they will get a message my number is no longer in service. Supposedly this kicks your number out of their robodialers. Every consumer who blocks and reports makes the sleazy telemarketing/telescamming industry less profitable. How long do you think it would take for these slimes to go out of business if NO ONE answered their calls? Four months, tops? Don't you think it would be worth it to let all calls go to voice mail and block/report every single number that did not leave a legit message for 4 months and end this crap forever?

- BobPicked up and no answer. No opportunity to play with the agent after pressing 1. You know, I probably ought to set up an Asterisk system and have the auto answer always play the DTMF 1 as part of the greeting. Since 'pre-record' is generally attempting to qualify the lead with the message, pressing '1' likely costs the people money as a 'qualified lead'. So, always press '1'. Always talk to the agent. Never say 'Yes'. Never buy from them. Stop allowing them to use robo calls save them money. Make them talk to every call they make, and pay the full cost of the telemarketing campaign. Cut into their profits, make them realized the cost is too great, and only then will they stop. As long as they make money, they will continue. No matter what regulations are passed, no matter what DNC lists are populated, no matter how much we complain to the FTC.
Every time you block their number, don't answer their call, you're helping the robo dialer find someone to buy something.- Call type: Telemarketer

- pc boston replies to Anonymcalled and hung up - no message. From other posts it's some type of credit card debt relief scheme or scam looking
for your banking information so they can deposit money to your checking acount to help you out. If you give them any information, it will end up everywhere, including your recently drained bank account. - pc boston replies to eIt's a slow and very cold day so I did a little research on this: Bank Stress Test Act. First, It has been around for
a while. Second, It is a government guide for banking instutions with no mention of any credit relief for the individual consumers. Third, The federal reserve has a web site that warns about fraud and scams offering debt relief.
That so called Pacific Business News outfit is in the business of getting and selling leads to others. In short, the
bank stress test act was not designed to help with credit debt relief. Look it up! - martySome credit scam my guess, recorded msg. left on answering machine

- JamesJust had a call from this number. Was on phone, so called back. It is a recording saying it is an automated Opt services.
It asks you to put in your phone #. NOT. This is just a way for them to get your phone# and sell it to others. Do not give them your #!. I am Blocking this # for all future calls. Also, seems to me this is illegal.
Just my take. - angrygrammaYup. Scumbags. I still think that the FBI should investigate phone crime as economic terrorism. Criminals don't care if they harm our government. I think they are traitors.
