Robocall, claiming that IRS is filing a lawsuit

Threatening phone a little after 6:30 a.m. saying this is the final call.  The IRS is filing suit against me and this is my final notice.   "Call immediately for more information."   My phone says it's from Buckley, WA.

I got the same call with the caller ID as Buckley.  The IRS reports a lot of these phishing calls for info - don't give them anything. A lot of these calls come from Pakistan.  I called back and the guy had a very strong accent, I hung up

JUst got the same call. Called my wifes cell phone yesterday as well

I just got the same call. Said his name was Officer Kevin Parker. Employee ID 98720. Said I was going to be arrested for a miscalculation in my tax file from 2008-2012. I could barely understand the strong accent and asked to speak with someone else and I got someone that sounded the exact same... then I hung up.

I received a call from this number about an hour ago.  When I called back I could not understand the guy on the other end after three attempts I finally understood he was claiming to be the IRS.  He asked how he could help I said I don't know I received a voice-mail from this number he hung up.

got the same call about bing sued by the irs. I filed a formal complaint with www.tigta.gov,hope this  helps pass the word and website around

Same thing happened to me. Said his name was Frank Robinson, said I owed $7,850 from 2008-2012 and that certified letters had been sent to my house 3 times. Said I was going to be arrested if I didn't pay up in 24 hours. Since you others got this similar phone call, I'm pretty sure it's a scam.

The call was from Buckley, WA, phone number 360-761-1562, and he claimed he was from the IRS Headquarters from Washington, DC.

Getting calls, accusing mistakes on taxes. Asked him to quit calling and the man said he was going to come to my house and kill me. Still get calls from this number like everyday.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Just received phone message on answering machine that "This is the IRS, we are filing a lawsuit against you, call 360761-1562 immediately..."

I RECEIVED A CALL THAT I WAS BEING SUED BY IRS.
THE CALL CAME FEB 9, 2015 ABOUT 11 AM.
IT WAS ON MY VOICE MAIL.

I received a call that showed 220-459-4790 on caller ID but said to call this phone number about an IRS Lawsuit. Final notice.

Got a voice mail robot call claiming to be from the IRS and that a lawsuit was being filed against me and it was the Final Notice. I had to call back the above # immediately. A different # was on my caller ID 913-594-2666 Which when I looked it up was from Kansas.

Same call re: IRS suing me. I did not answer, but let it go to my answering machine. I was to call (360) 761-1562. II did not call. ! checked my caller ID and it showed the call came from (604) 226-5748 which is in Abbotsford, BC.

Called my parents house looking to collect money from error in taxes from 08-12 .  maybe if officer Dan smith talked with an american accent it would a sounded more believable

Same here.  I just started a godaddy email account and believe they shared my info with these idiots.  My guy was Daniel Smith and couldn't speak a lick of English.

IRS my ass.  Complete scam.  IRS would send a certified mail letter.

360 761-1562 says it is the IRS.  The IRS does NOT call - they send you letters if yoy owe money.  This is a scam - hang up!
