Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. - iamtherealfrog replies to WendyI got a call from 412 709.5581 they said they were the irs and was suing me and gave me this number to call 360 780
6822 for info. they never mention my name or any reference that they knew who I was. do not respond to these scammers. remember if you use a phone number search website no matter how cheap they appear, they will sign you up and charge you each month, a word of advice don't get hooked by them either. - J YountI received a call stating the irs was suing fore taxes I owe. the number was 360-780-3822

- RAH| 1 replyI received a message and returned the phone call. She claimed to be from the IRS and her name was officer Kimberly Tyler, badge # IRM0156. She knew my name and address, and said I was audited for tax years 2008-13 and that I owed $2986.96. She said that if I don't cooperate a local sheriff will be at my home to arrest me, and they would foreclose on my house for non-payment. I called H&R Block, because they do my taxes and I pay "Peace of Mind." H&R Block informed me that if this was legit I would have received a letter first. I was told to call the IRS and report this matter to them, or come to an H&R Block office and they will call with me (since I was the only witness to this incident). It's a scam - don't give them any info.

- RitchMy wife said we had a message on the recorder asking us to call 360-780-3822. The IRS was filing a law suit. I called the # and it gust rang no one picked up. I don't think I'll call back. I had a call a while back from some one saying they were from the IRS. Kind of the same thing. I don't remember the call back #.
