I received a call from 360-851-1351.  They left a robocall voicemail about how the IRS was going to file a  lawsuit against me.  I googled the number and saw a comment on http://3608511351.whocallsme.org/3608511351-1336006 from an individual who had received the same voice message and implied that this was probably a scam.

So I googled "IRS Scam 360-851-1351", to which I will quote from,  http://www.cnbc.com/id/102553098
"If the IRS needs to contact you about a tax problem, they will send you a letter via U.S. mail.  They won't call ...  threatening a lawsuit...."  This article goes on to say that if you really want to make sure you are okay with the IRS, you could call them at 1-800-829-1040.

If you do a search for 1-800-829-1040, you'll find that scammers have also spoofed this 1-800 IRS number, so also be aware of that as well if you do receive a call from this number.  https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-800-829-1040

i received a call from 3603296017,saying the irs had filed law suit against me,and to call this number to find out more about the issue.

Yep.  Got a call from  360-851-1351.  Friday afternoon 6/19/2015 at 4:26 pm.  Said that the automated call served as a final notice that the IRS was filing lawsuit against me and to call the number to find out more about the issue.  Didn't call.  Looked here.  Feel better.

Got the IRS scam call today, in fact twice.  I must be in real deep S**t with them to get called twice.  Shaking in my boots in Phoenix.

Received a robocall  on my voicemail from 360 851 1351: "noitce from IRS"   " call immediately... "
Instinct told me otherwise and instead I Googled and got here.

Received same messages on Friday June 19th and today June 22nd - The IRS does not contact via messages this way.

I received a call from this number Friday, June 19 and again today, Monday, June 22, 2015. Same message as others have reported.

Got this call today  and Friday June 19th from 360 851 1352 stating the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me.  Thought it was strange that the IRS would call and leave a voicemail.  Thanks for post and notification about this scam.

Got two messages stating to call 360-851-1351, very skeptically called and was told I was being sued in amount of $2930.00 by IRS...voice on other end of line would not give any specific information regarding tax year, causation, etc...told him to send the paperwork verifying lawsuit, but he was unable to comply due to some "company policy".  Told me I'd lose everything, driver license, bank accounts, home, vehicles...nice try, IRS does NOT call and leave messages, certified mail is much more likely.  I've reported this incident to the IRS scam site.

they said i owed a bunch of money and they were going to put a warrant out on me.  they said they sent two certifed letters back in march but we never recieved them.

Yep. Called 3 days ago and today. IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. I am SOOO worried LOL.
Why do people pick up unrecognized calls? I never do and this eventually has reduced number of calls.

Here is what is on irs.gov regarding phone calls:
You receive a phone call from someone claiming to be from the IRS but you suspect they are not an IRS employee ...
Record the employee's name, badge number, call back number and caller ID if available.
Call 1-800-366-4484 to determine if the caller is an IRS employee with a legitimate need to contact you.
If the person calling you is an IRS employee, call them back.
If not, report the incident to TIGTA and to us at phishing@irs.gov (Subject: 'IRS Phone Scam')

Received spoof phone call from IRS - 360-851-1351 stating that I owed money

I recieved a call from this number but did not answer because if I do not recognize it I am pretty confident it is a scam.  Glad I did not pick up and saw these comments.

They called me at 6:15 AM - same number as listed above, 360 851 1351. They woke me up and I just laughed when I heard the recording.  They will not be getting any money out of me.

I've heard of the phony IRS scam call but this is the first time I've ever received it myself. Should I feel slighted that it took them this long to get around to calling me?

The call almost sounds professional (except for a subtle grammatical error that somebody with a 6th grade education would probably notice. I don't want to specifically mention the error and rough spots in case these scammers are savvy enough to do Internet research on their own spoofed phone numbers, why give them the benefit of my critique to help them make their patter sound more professional than horse manure it is?) but I think these are foreign scammers calling because of peculiarities in their wording that sounds more like a non native English speaking person.

Anybody with half a brain cell working would probably know immediately that the call is not from the IRS, but then again, there are a lot of gullible people out there answering their telephones, so I guess scammers like these are able to stay in business.

"[female voice] "We have been trying to reach you. This automated message should be considered as a final notice from I.R.S. Internal Revenue Service. The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file please call immediately on three six zero, eight five one, one three five one. I repeat, three six zero, eight five one, one three five one. Thank you."

I have received several calls from this Washing ton number and now they have hit my cell phone. They have called me three times in the past week on my cell phone. No phone is safe! They told me I was being sued by the irs. I already went through this with my land line and have reported it several times.

The phone number is from Black Diamond, Washington.  The call was automated and it said I was being sued by the IRS.

Got 2 calls from this number yesterday and one today.  IRS scam!  It's an automated call saying the IRS is filing a lawsuit against us and we need to call them back ASAP.  At least the cal today was saying it's my final notice...maybe they'll stop calling.

YEP me too!! I  got it yesterday .....idiot scammers.
