caller said I was being given a $8,000 grant from federal govt. all I had to do was go get money gram form and give bank of ny  $200.

SCAM - it is illegal to demand an upfront payment in order to receive a loan, grant, or prize.   It is a thief - not the Bank of New York - and there is no loan!!             RUN from this one!!!

These number call me early In the morning the say I have qualify for 80,000 grand then the sent me to the Walmart to sent then 1000$ dollar just to qualified more stupe staff on the law for these people has no respect for then self

Advance fee loans are illegal period and in some states, so are the payday loans.   Please be aware the scammers may also claim down the road that you have taken a loan and try to extort money from you that way as well!
