I had a call from this number saying iwas getting free money from government of 9530 dollars but first i got to get a green dot volcher and load 300.00 on so they can send the money to my card

Received a call just now, 10:46 EST on 12/12/13, from "Unavailable" informing me of a Government grant award for $9,200 for my name having been drawn from a list of those that had responded to a government survey.  Supposedly I was one of 1,600 individuals so awarded and was given an award number.  I am to call (360) 967-4377 to receive my award.  Not going to bother.

I received the same call at 11:23am. Bogus. Women could hardly speak English.

I got the same call, same scenario. Unknown number, woman couldn't hardly speak English.

I just received the exact same call....... not going to bother calling the number.  I am not sure why people actually think that anyone would believe a free grant was given from the govt of $9200 to anyone.  Nothing in life is free and never from the govt........

I just received the same call and the lady could not speak English.  she said I had been selected to receive 9200.00 because my phone number came up and I have not been convicted of a crime in the last 6 months. the she told me I had to call 360-967-4377 to claim the Grant.  

it was all I could do to keep from laughing at her.  for one thing my phone number is in my wife's name because when we moved she went ahead and moved an got the house set up, gas, electric, etc.. and set up the cell phone as well.  then when I met up with them at the new house after finishing my last week of work she had everything already set up in her name.  we just have never bothered to go back and put things in both our names.  

Same scenario with a twist.  9200 in grant $ on 12-17 10:30am.  again the lady did not speak english well.  My acknowledgement number was GG1006.  Said she was calling from Delaware.

Same scenario. Call from the Federal Grant Administration. Said I was chosen, along with 1600 other "citizens" to receive Grant money from the government because I pay my bills on time, no bankruptcy and pay my taxes. When asked for the phone number so I could call him back directly, he gave me the number he previously gave me 3609674377. His name was Jeff Gomez...he had to think about his name for a second though...odd haha. Joke!

I got the same call and its a scam

The call came in as unknown but showed on the id as us10002--The foreign voice said as a tax payer and homeowner i had been chosen in the geographical area for a grant that I will never have to pay back. I would just have to call 360-967-4377 right after he hangs up and he then gave me an ID #  GG1082 which will be the way I can collect a $9,200 grant to spend on anything I'd like-- hospital bills, home repairs or a new car---anything I want.

I received a phone call from a unknown #stating free gov grant for 9,550 all I had to do was call this #3609674377 but before I was giving a code gg1082.I called the number a woman answered saying us government how can I help u.She told me I have a grant and I have to go to CVS Walmart or Kmart to activate and I will get the money if I put down 355.00,luckily I'm here on this website for scams I called the number back and told them I reported  this number and she still tried to convince me otherwise....Please be aware of this scam

EXACTLY THE SAME INFO AS ABOVE!!  It must be the scrip of the week!  I'm Irish so when 'Christine Johnson' told me she was Dutch, (with a very distinct Hispanic BUT NOT Dutch accent - we can tell, us immigrants!!), I asked her, "Oh, tell me, where in Holland are you from..?"  Innocent enough question...  I asked her twiceAll I got was a long extended period of silence.  When pressed, she told me that she had given me her info and anything else was personal and it's not necessary for me to know...  she clicked off to get advice on that answer BTW!  Total scam!!

Just received the same call and message like 20 times today!!!! I told him when he called back, that his calls are now being monitor and the authorities are coming to get them. Hopefully that will stop the calls.

I just had the same phone call and she even have me get address but wouldn't repeat it back to me.
