Repeated computer generated calls starting with the command "Do Not Hang Up! This is not a sales call" and then a little speech about how federal statististics shows home break ins occur commonly and that I have been specially selected to receive a free something or other.

The first couple of times I got this I immediately hung up, but after maybe 4 calls I decided they were getting to be a nuisance and I waited to hear the whole message so I could talk with someone and ask them to stop the calls. At the end of the canned speech I was told to press 1 for further information. I pressed 1 but all I got was silence.

I used the Last Call Received function to obtain the number which called me and googled the number. I got this website which indicates that a company called Santander and another called eCommerce are using this number for various debt collection or fraudulent purposes. It appears my caller is another variation on this scheme. I just want the calls to stop.

We've been getting calls from this number.  We went out of town for a week and they called twice a day and left no message, just a loud "beep."  What jerks.

harassing phone calls from this number. refuse to identify the name of the company after u press 1. wants personal information about who they are talking to but won't identify who the call is intended for. also they do not know what the laws are for people on the federal do not call list

I also received this call 2.    Second time, I did press 1 then ask if I could check them out b/f giving any info.    Click and gone.     Strange thing is they said they were General Electric Security and that checks out to be a BBB top rated company  for security.
