Called left no voice mail.

Called and left no voicemail. Caller ID said Corpus Christi, TX. I blocked my number and called back, and a recording told me I could press 1 to have the number I'm calling from removed from their list. I pressed one to see if it would recognize that I'd blocked my number, and the recording said I would be removed from their list. So their "remove from your list" option is basically a sham, and their recording did not give any clues as to who called. Number blocked.

Message left was instructing me to press #1 now for more information. First part of message was missed as the robo-call doesn't recognize answering machines. Blocking number now.

It is our "friends" at card services. I always talk to them just to try to get them to hang up first. Looks like they have a new number coming out of Texas.

I've had multiple calls from this "Consumer Svcs" and every time I block one number, they call using a different number. I've reported this numerous times with no results. The times I have answered the recording is to lower my credit card interest rate. One time I called back, got a female, and told her I didn't carry a balance and she questioned that...not believing me.

These people are absolutely harassing in their calls and do not stop no matter how many times you tell them to quit calling.

They'll continue to call back using a different number.  I can only block 12 numbers on my phone system and probably 80% of them are from Consumer Svcs...this same number.

They just trespassed on my telephone just now.  CardHolder Terrorists.  Will forward the calls from 361 to Rep. Blake Farenthold maybe he will investigate these crooks on Capital Hill.

WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are   B I G   credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever!

I received a call from 361-271-4868. I did not give up any information just told to the person who called that this is a fraud and to stop calling me. Please block this number.

You people with the FCC ARE NOT DOING YOUR JOB to stop the relentless bombardment of robo-dialed scam phone calls.  This harassment has been plaguing us for years and is getting worse by the day!  The public is totally frustrated with your feeble attempt to put a stop to this.  My Caller ID log typically fills up with 70 of these calls in a matter of two weeks.  SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE--NOW!!!



Your "Do Not Call List" and the Caller ID function are basically useless because these low-life scammers spoof the Caller ID's and blatantly ignore the "Do Not Call List".  This is against the law--your laws!!  Why aren't you doing your job to enforce these laws, and track down and prosecute these bottom feeders??!!



These scammers use an endless list of spoofed Caller ID numbers.  So filing complaints with your agency is fruitless.  People do not have the time to fill out numerous complaints all the time for numbers that are bogus.



Seems to me that if our Government can track people's e-mails, phone calls, and backgrounds, they should easily be able to back track where all these scam phone calls originate, and take legal action to stop them.



The phone companies are paid to connect these calls, so there has to be records where they come from.  Your agency should be investigating these phone companies, because they are basically the go-betweens the public and the scammers.



I Google many of the numbers calling me and read the complaints.  People are totally fed up with this!  It's going to get dirty pretty soon if you people do not start showing some progress toward stopping this harassment!!

Scammers. BE VERY CAREFUL. Do not give them any identifying info!

The card service scammers   WILL   'service' our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish 'servicing' them, they will have NO available credit remaining! People that are fooled into having their cards 'serviced' will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey mainly on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can!

Stop these unwanted,  illegal calls.   This one was from a person wanting to fix my computer.  

This scam has changed its number so many times, for at least 2 years; have lost count: for card services, fix computer; they are just looking for information; moreover just plain annoying; use cell; possibly; level 3 communication, easier switching; now using another cell for Corpus Christi Victoria TX; they stopped for a short time during the holidays, but now have started again; one of many number is 361-271-4868; same annoying request; using a robo contact list;

New week; new number!  I can add them to my blocked calls just as fast as they can change their numbers.  Ho hum!  Same ole credit card scammers/criminals.  They don't give up.  But from now on, the phone won't ring (until they change their number again, which I will block again).  So the story goes.  Bottom line, they're not getting squat from me; not even a human voice on this end.

As long as there are people, you're going to find that there will always be those who think that what belongs to you and me, should belong to them as well. These lowlife scum will prey upon the trusting and unsuspecting,  especially when it comes to scamming you out of your own money. And, this is not only true of scamming telemarketers, but salesmen, repairmen, politicians and unfortunately, even neighbors, family and so-called "friends". I have even dealt with law enforcement, as well as religious leaders who were just a little unscrupulous and couldn't be trusted. So, all we can do is keep fighting the fight, and in this case write those "Powers to be", like R JJ above mentioned, and other political figures like our state representatives, etc. and give the lowlife scum telemarketers a dose of their own. Either purchase a device for about $40 or I hit the answer button and hang up quickly which basically does what the device does except manually. Sometimes, I turn the tables and jerk them around until they have had enough and hang up!

I again have received a call from this new scam number. What we need to remember these callers are crooks who do not care about the DNC laws. All they want to do is to steal your money and personal information with a phone instead of a gun . The only way to stop them is not to respond to their scam phone calls. However there continues to be people who respond to the scammers and they lose their money and personal information. So the telemarketers  continue with their phone calls looking for further victims.

This has been going on for years. Complaints to the National DNC site are useless - they either cannot or do not care about investigating. I've logged dozens of these with them.
